#6 in #DarthVader (6/20/24)
This story will not be a straight forward romance journey, as Vader is a dynamically difficult character. I intend to keep him as in-character as I possibly can, meaning this story will not be all butterflies and rainbow...

Unfortunately due to the story leading to some changes within the galaxy, some parts involving the timing in which canon events occur will be changed. This is also going to lead to some further canon events changing. But most of the time, key canon events will still occur and I am sticking with following through with them.
Chapter 16: Revelation
Crying out as my shoulder met up with the steel floor, my body slid to a stop just before being lectured, "it is vital to maintain confidence in your posture. Ensure that your feet remain planted. Shift your weight forward to eliminate the potential of your opponent knocking you off balance." Vader drew near me after having shoved me off balance while our lightsabers had been crossed.
Locating my blue lightsaber that had been powered off as a result of it colliding with the floor, I snatched a hold of it from an arms reach away, "...you don't think I've been trying? You are too strong."
Vader did not halt our duel, raising his lightsaber over his head to leave me with no choice but to grip onto mine with both hands, ignite it and hold it to the side to collide his blade with mine. He was not letting up, forcing screams of exertion from me while I utilized every ounce of my strength in effort to counteract his. He was leant over with his helmet a good three feet from my face, our blindingly bright blades between the two of us illuminating a lilac purple onto his helmet and my face.
There was no doubt in my mind that he was going easy on me, but even then my arms began to tremble, threatening to give in. Sweat ran down every inch of my exposed flesh, the heat from our blades intensified my perspiration.
It had been nearly a month since my first lesson, and I have been absorbing every bit of information to my advantage, but my biggest challenge that had stuck with me since the start was my own strength. Learning had never been a problem for me, but getting my body conditioned for combat wasn't easy.
"Focus your mind. Your body will no longer labor perilously once you come to realize the true source of where one's strength lies." He put forth more muscle into our strained lightsabers, Vader using only one hand while my thoughts panicked to attempt at processing the suggestion in his words.
Blip was near the doors to the exercise chamber, distressed as she usually is during these tense moments. Despite being ordered to remain by the door, she could not withstand it any longer and fired up her jets to fly over to us.
Vader, holding his lightsaber with his nondominant left hand, snapped his head in her direction as he shot his right hand out at her. The force grabbed onto her, and she let out a panicked screech.
"No!!" With Blip in danger, my brain finally clicked into its sense of adrenaline. With Vader distracted, he had unintentionally let up on his strength. Before I even realized, I had been overcome by my undying urge to protect my droid, aggression boiling over as my lips curled and a scream erupted from my lungs. Releasing a hand from the double grip of my lightsaber, I shot my hand out at him, the Force around us hurled into him without warning. The instant he felt the Force crash into his suit, his loss of focus dropped Blip and he made stabilizing himself his main priority. My rush sent him flying backward four feet until he caught on to plant his footing and catch his balance. He lowered his lightsaber to his side, crouched low enough to nearly be on one knee as a result of having shifted his weight forward and against the Force.
