I had my finger on the trigger all it took was I tiny tug and he would be dead but I couldn't bring myself to do it I drop my arm to my side Four smirks

"Awe can Tina not kill someone in cold blood anymore" I hear Peter mock I grab a knife and throw it at him not directly it landed next to his wrist scraping it he let out a cry of pain

"I can kill whoever I like in cold blood I just choose not to" I retrieve my knife and press it to his neck "I'm not like you I don't kill of people in afraid of I make them suffer" I snap before releasing him I turn to Tris "are you okay" I ask gesturing at her bullet wound she nods "Marcus" I say coldly

"Tina" he replies

"There your responsibility if anything happens to them I will make sure you suffer understand" I order

"You can't do that" Marcus argues I shake my head

"I can and I will" I walk up to him he is slightly taller

"Fine" he snaps

"Good" I turn around and walk to the door of the train "I'm sorry but it's the only way to keep you safe" I jump off and sprint to Abnegation Eric is pacing around shouting orders at people I walk up behind him and put a hand I his shoulder only for him to grab it and flip me over his shoulder onto my stomach twisting my wrist behind my back I yelled out in pain

"Shit...sorry babe" he says getting off me releasing my wrist I sit up gritting my teeth I'm pretty sure he's broken my ribs as well as my wrist

"It's fine honestly" I mumble he picks me up and carries me to the make shift infirmary

"What happened now" a nurse says rushing up to us I recognize her she treated me when Eric beat me up for sleeping with Zeke

"Big oaf here decided to play a bit of mud wrestling" I explained Eric looked emotionless but if you looked close enough you could see a hint of guilt

"Over here" she indicates for us to follow her.

My wrist was bandaged up I had broken 2 ribs and my wrist she finished with my wrist "I will go get you some painkillers" she left the room leaving me with Eric he looked at me with guilty eyes

"Sorry babe I didn't mean to do that" I shook my head

"It's fine I'm used to it this is what I signed up for when I said I would marry you now stop feeling guilty I'm fine" he smiled and gave me a peck on the lips

"I love you" Eric murmured

"I love you too" I replied just then Jeanine walked in

"There you are Tina I've got to ask you something" she said in a sickly sweet voice

"What is it Jeanine" I roll my eyes

"You where seen leaving Abnegation and getting on a train why was that" she questioned

"I went to clear my head" I answer with an emotionless face I was a good liar

"Is that so, so you didn't go see you brother" she asked

"Jeanine how many times have I told you I don't know where Four is what more do you want because I can't tell you what I don't know" she shakes her head

"I think your lying to me Tina" she accuses

"And why would I do that Jeanine" I say in a bored tone

"To protect him" she raises an eyebrow

"He tried to kill me so why would I he doesn't deserve my protection" I snap Jeanine shakes her head

"Fine lets go" she walks out with her guards following her like lost puppy's I let out a groan of frustration and glare at Eric

"Feel free to defend your fiancée at any time" I am beyond angry he just let Jeanine stand there and accuse me of seeing Four

"Well I thought you could handle it" He defends

"Really so you thought I could handle it when Four was threatening to kill me and you stood there like an idiot" I raise an eyebrow

"SORRY IF I DONT DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU" he snaps

"I DONT EXPECT YOU TO DO EVERYTHING FOR ME" I shout

"WELL IT FEELS LIKE IT"

"YOU KNOW WHAT ERIC I DONT NEED YOUR LECTURE RIGHT NOW SO JUST LEAVE AND TAKE THIS WITH YOU BECAUSE IM SERIOUSLY QUESTIONING IF YOU ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT ME" I throw the engagement ring at him he looks hurt but walks out all the same I let tears fall down my face he walked out like he didn't care about me Does he even care?
