Failed father?

For the first time I see the tears in his eyes,
They convey sorrow, they convey pain,
With every passing second, his soul is strained,
He walks alone, in this selfish world,
A victim of society, claimed criminal,
His heart aches with the memories,
The memories his daughter left,
His heart aches with the shame,
The shame that his daughter left,
I sadly watch, as he can't shed a tear,
The baby he loved is now his fear,
She ran away for the love of her life,
Leaving behind a dad who gave his life,
I sadly watch as he can no longer love her,
I sadly watch as he breaks inside,
I wonder if he asks himself whether he failed or not?
Buried in debts and middle class trap,
Just for his children to thrive ahead,
From pain to laughter, he willingly shared,
Kept her like a princess, with utmost care,
She left him sleeping behind, leaving him wake up with the worst news of his life,
That the daughter he loved, has turned her back on him,
That the daughter he adored, stabbed him with a knife,
The daughter he most loved, has left him crumbling behind.
