"John?" Logan says, sounding surprised, catching my curiosity about who could be on the other side of the door. I get up from the couch and walk toward him. By the time I reach the door, I see a man standing there—probably Logan's age.

He's tall, with messy, tousled dark hair that falls carelessly over his forehead. His eyes are a deep, warm brown, glinting with a playful energy, like he's always thinking of something to say or do next. He's dressed casually in a black jacket over a simple T-shirt, and his ripped jeans give off a relaxed, confident vibe.

John's smile is wide and effortless, almost as if it's a natural part of him. He practically radiates extroverted energy, walking into the room with the kind of presence that instantly draws attention. Without missing a beat, he winks at me, then turns back to Logan with a grin.

I hide behind Logan, feeling a bit intimidated by John's confidence, but I can't help the small smile that tugs at my lips.

"You must be Genesis," John says, his voice warm and friendly. "Heard a lot about you." His eyes sparkle with curiosity as they flicker back to me, and I catch a glimpse of mischief in his gaze as I look up at Logan, still trying to adjust to the sudden shift in the room's energy.

"You didn't tell me you were coming to town," Logan finally says, crossing his arms with a playful frown.

John grins, clearly enjoying the moment. "I wanted to surprise you!"

"Consider me surprised," Logan replies, his tone half-amused, half-exasperated.

John laughs, his energy infectious as he steps further into the room, taking a quick look around. "Well, I figured it was time to shake things up a bit." His gaze lingers on me for a second longer before he turns his attention back to Logan. "I hope you don't mind, though. I'll try not to cause too much chaos while I'm here."

Logan laughs, shaking his head as he steps aside. "Come on in. Where are you staying?"

John raises an eyebrow, his smirk playful. "Here, duh."

Logan looks over at me with a teasing smile. "You'll have to sleep on the couch. Genesis has your room now."

"I knew that..." he replies, keeping his tone casual.

"Then why not stay in a hotel? You'd be more comfortable."

"Cause, I miss my cousin and I want to spend every waking moment of the day with you!"

Logan raises an eyebrow, clearly amused. "Spending every waking moment, huh? You must really miss me."

John smirks, glancing over at me with a playful look. "Exactly. And I don't want to waste any more time, so here I am."

I can't help but chuckle at his enthusiasm. "Well, I'll leave you two to catch up," I say, already stepping toward the kitchen.

"Absolutely not," John interjects, his voice full of mock outrage. "I want to get to know the room thief too!"

I glance at Logan, who's shaking his head with a mix of exasperation and amusement. "Room thief?" I echo, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, you've claimed my rightful space," John declares dramatically, placing a hand over his chest as if wounded. "But don't worry, I'm not one to hold grudges."

Logan groans. "Don't let him drag you into his theatrics. He's been like this since we were kids."

"Part of my charm," John shoots back, grinning. "Now, Genesis, tell me everything. Where are you from? What do you do? How'd you end up in my room, stealing my cousin's attention?"
