19.Comforter

Neil and Aarohi landed in Udaipur.
Aarohi: taxi bulaye?
Neil: Are maine Bhai ko phone kardiya voh aa rahe honge. Aur ha bhabhi bhi aa rahi hai. Yaad hai na surprise.
Aarohi: haan hai. Par akshu ko bataya kya?
Neil: mujhe nahi pata aur kya farak padta hai. Hai na?
Aarohi nod her head.
Aarohi: main na thaku maa ko call karke aati hun tab tak.
Neil nod his head.
Abhimanyu stopped the car.
Akshara: abhi hum airport kyu aaye? Kahin Jaa rahe hai kya? Ghar pe bataya nahi... Packing bhi nahi ki. Kya abhi pehle nahi bata sakte?
Abhimanyu: shaant ho jao meri maa. Hum kahin nahi jaa rahe hai.
Akshara: phir airport kyun aaye?
Abhimanyu: ruko.
He get down the car and opened the door for her. Akshara also got down, clueless of why they were at the airport.
Neil shots from a distance. "Bhai bhabhi".
They both look at him.
Akshara feels elated watching him and runs to him to give a hug. Neil puts all his bags down and hugs his bhabhi maa.
Akshara is all squealing in joy. Then Abhimanyu also hug him. Just then Aarohi comes back after calling thaku maa.
Aarohi: chamgadar main ne...
She stops on seeing Abhimanyu and Akshara.
Akshara is shocked to see her sister.
"Aaarruuuuuuuu" she ran and hugged her.
Their eyes filled with tears as they hugged.
Aarohi went towards Abhimanyu
Aarohi: kaise ho aap?
Abhimanyu: main badhiya.
Abhimanyu was about to give her a hug when she moved her body a little back. Her smile faded away.
Everyone noticed that.
Akshara: aaru kya hua sab thik toh hai na?
Neil: main batata hun baad me. ab chale.
Everyone nod and sat in the car.
Neil: kitne din ho Gaye hai Udaipur dekh kar.
Akshara: din nahi almost do saal ho gaye.
Abhimanyu: Aarohi tumhe kaise lag raha hai Ghar vaapas aakar.
Aarohi: kuch khaas nahi. Mujhe aadat hai saalon saal tak Ghar nahi aana.
Akshara: kya hua tu disturbed lag Rahi hai?
Aarohi: Main disturbed toh bohot saal pehle ho gayi thi.
Abhimanyu: Aarohi tum thik toh ho na.
Aarohi: haan haan main thik hun.
They were all silent and reached home.
Manjiri welcomed both Neil and Aarohi with aarti.
Shefali: tum log kamre main jaao thak Gaye honge.
Aarohi went to guest room and others to their rooms.
After few hours, Neil went to Aarohi's room.
Aarohi: aao chamgadar.
Neil: tum so Rahi thi kya?
Aarohi: nahin
Neil sat on the bed while Aarohi was sitting on the chair and doing something on her laptop.
Neil: tum busy ho kya?
Aarohi: kuch zaroori baat hai kya?
Neil: nahin. Woh Ghar main sab busy hai toh socha tumse baat karlu.
Aarohi closed the laptop and kept it on the side table. She went and sat next to Neil.
Aarohi: batao.
Neil: toh... Police station kab chale?
Aarohi: jab tum kaho.
Neil: kal?
Aarohi nod her head.
Aarohi: main tumse ek baat puchu?
Neil: haa pucho na.
Aarohi: tum yeh sab mere liye kyun kar rahe ho? Tumhe mujhpe taras aa raha hai na. You are pitying me.
Neil: mujhe nahi pata main yeh sab kyun kar raha hun, lekin isi liye toh definitely nahi kyun ki mujhe tumpe taras aa raha hai . Main tumpe koi taras nahi khaa raha hun chipkali.
Aarohi smiled and then they heard a knock on the door.
Aarohi: aajao andar.
The door opened and Abhimanyu and Akshara entered the room.
Abhimanyu: tu yaha hai?
Neil: haan Bhai kya Karu Ghar main sab busy hai toh socha chipkali se hi baat karlu.
Akshara: toh tum dono khaafi close ho gaye ho.
Aarohi: vaha Kolkata main ek dusre ke liye humare alawa hai hi koun.
Abhimanyu: haan. Anjaan sheher mein dushman bhi dost ban jaate hai.
Neil: yeh chipkali us anjaan sheher ki anjaan logon ko dost bana leti hai lekin Jaan pehchan ki dushman ko kabhi dost nahi banati.
Aarohi: toh chamgadar tum mere dost nahi ho?
Neil: nahi usse zyada.
Everyone kept silent.
Aarohi was shocked.
Aarohi: mm...ma...matlab?
Neil: Saviour... Nahi?
Aarohi smiled in relief.
Aarohi: Nahin.
Neil: phir... Sirf dost hun?
Aarohi: Comforter ho tum. You help me heal.
Neil smiled, proud of himself.
Akshara and Abhimanyu looked towards each other.
Abhimanyu: acha pehle yeh batao itni achanak Kolkata se Udaipur kyun aye ho tum log. Kal phone pe bhi pucha Maine toh tu ne Kahan ki aane ke baad bataunga. Bata ab.
Neil looked at Aarohi.
Neil: tum batao chipkali.
Aarohi looked towards Abhimanyu and Akshara.
Aarohi: main soch Rahi hu ki us Vikrant ke khilaf F.I.R. file karwau.
Akshara: tu paagal hai kya. Tu aisa kuch nahi karegi.
The room which was calm till now, filled with tension as Akshara started to panic.
Abhimanyu was clueless.
Neil: kyun bhabhi, Aarohi ki galti thodi thi?
Akshara: mujhe nahin pata kiski galti thi. Aaru tujhe pata haina Aaj Tak humne case kyun nahi karwaya. Bade papa tere chehre Tak nahi dekhna chaaahenge ab. Itne saal ho gaye Aaj Tak tujhe maaf nahi karpaye hai voh toh soch case karenge toh kya hoga?
Aarohi: yeh kya keh rahi hai tu akshu?nahin pata kiski galti hai? Aur bade papa meri kis galti ko maaf karenge haan. Tujhe bhi yahi lagta hai na galti meri hai?
Akshu: mujhe Aisa nahi lagta hai Aaru.
Neil: toh aap kyun rok rahi ho Aarohi ko bhabhi.
Akshara: toh yeh sab tumne daala hai Aaru ke dimaag main.
Abhimanyu was shocked by her words but kept silent as he don't know anything about what they are talking about.
Aarohi: paagal hai kya? kya bol Rahi hai tu?
Akshara: toh bata tere dimaag main achanak case karne ka idea kaise aaya. Neil ne hi bataya hoga na.
Aarohi: tu Neil ke baare main kuch galat nahi bolegi.
Akshara: Neil Mera devar hai main uske baare main galat nahi bol Rahi hu main Teri balaayi ke liye bol Rahi hu.
Aarohi: kya hai meri balaayi isme. Bade papa mujhe apna lenge? Case karna sahi hai.
Akshara: mujhe Neil ko vaha rehne hi nahi dena chahiye tha.
Aarohi: tu Neil ko beech main mat keech.
Akshara: main...
Just then Manjiri called them for lunch.
Neil: mujhe samajh main nahi aa raha hai tum dono kyun lad rahe ho. Khaane ke baad Shanti se baat karenge.
Akshara: Neil sahi keh raha hai. Niche chalte hai.
