Daniel's POV

"I still can't believe that because of Belinda's stupid behavior, the principal suspended your group from participating in the agricultural project. That's not fair," Wisdom said.

I sighed, feeling frustrated.

Belinda's annoying outburst caused a problem, leading the principal to exclude our group from participating just because she was part of it.

"The look on Temi's face was priceless," Benjamin chuckled.

"I can't see clearly. Somebody please help me, I can't see clearly," Benjamin mimicked Temi, trying to lighten the mood.

"That's not funny," Wisdom chided.

"I know, but what's wrong with her? I guess the food she eats is the cause of her stupid behavior and weird odor?" Benjamin asked seriously.

"How do you know she has a weird odor? She's not like Fatima, whom you said had body odor," Wisdom replied, referring to Benjamin's past comments about another girl.

I felt sorry for Temi; she didn’t deserve to be constantly ridiculed, she's just doing what makes her happy, although it can be annoying and really causes trouble at times.

"Maybe this will finally shut her up," Benjamin added, and I couldn't take it anymore.

"Benjamin, just stop. If you have nothing better to say, keep quiet," I snapped, then walked away from them.

If he were in my shoes, he wouldn’t find this situation amusing.

I headed to the boys' locker room to change for soccer practice, trying to shake off my frustration.

As I was about to start practice, Wisdom joined me.
"Are you mad at Benjamin?" Wisdom asked.

"No, he's just always immature and thoughtless," I replied.

"Not sometimes, but all the time," Wisdom added knowingly.

"I saw Belinda's dad leaving the principal's office; he seemed really angry with her," Wisdom informed me.

"Poor girl," I muttered.

"I also heard that Belinda's dad will pay for Temi's broken glasses," Wisdom continued.

"At least that's someting," I said, grabbing a bottle of water from my bag.

"I still feel bad that you couldn't participate in the agricultural project
Presentation despite all your hard work," Wisdom sympathized.

"It's frustrating.”I said

but at least Belinda will be suspended for a week," wisdom said back,

I wonder where Wisdom was getting all this information.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Wisdom asked.

"Nothing," I replied quickly, heading back to practice.

During a break from practice, I noticed Christabel at the bleachers, engrossed in something. I walked over to her.

"You draw beautifully," I complimented her, causing her to hide her book.

I chuckled, trying to ease her nerves.

"You're really talented. Why are you in science class then?" I asked curiously.

"That's none of your business," she retorted stubbornly, quickly putting away her book. Just then, Amara arrived and hugged me.

"Where have you been, Daniel? I've been looking for you," Amara said with a smile.

Christabel left abruptly, and I wanted to ask her something before Amara interrupted us.
