Picnics

Saturday rolled around, and it was pretty safe to say that Nickel was ecstatic. He was going on a "date" with his crush. At least, that's what Nickel wanted it to be. He woke up and got ready to go somewhere with Balloon. He didn't exactly know where,but going somewhere with Balloon made him happy enough. Once he was ready, he saw Balloon waiting outside

Nickel's POV:Balloon looks better than he usually does, I mean, he always looks cu-nevermind that thought I just have to make it through the day. "Come on, Nickel! This way." Balloon said. He led me towards a small hill,which had some picnic stuff on top of it. I sat down, and we started talking for a while. "Then I told him it didn't make cents!" (Coin joke) Balloon laughed. Hearing his laugh made me blush a little. And he took notice of it. "Are you okay? Your face looks a little red." He said while grabbing the side of my cheek. "HE'S SO CLOSE TO ME!" Nickel thought. "I-I'm fine." I said. "Hey Nickel?" Balloon asked. "Yeah?" Nickel said in response. "Thanks for being nicer to me." Balloon exclaimed."It's now or never. Gotta shoot my shot." Nickel thought. He moved closer up to Balloon and gave him a peck on the cheek.

Balloon's POV:

Did Nickel just kiss me? "Balloon,I like you." Nickel said. I didn't really know what to say. I don't wanna say no, but this is happening too quickly. "Well, Nickel,this is moving quicker than I would ever imagine, but I think we can give it a shot."

Nickel's POV: Balloon said yes! I couldn't process it for a while, but when I finally did, I just got up and started kissing him. He got really red so I started to tease him "You know you want it~" I said. "Back off Nickel." Balloon said, embarrassed. I laughed and walk to base with him.
