I went home as per Lily's advice and locked the door. I sat there for an hour and wondered why there was so much pain in my life. Had I made any mistakes in my life that caused all this suffering? I was sobbing and found it hard to bear the pain. After wiping my tears, I went to the bathroom and washed my face. I reminded myself that everything happens for a reason and came out of the house with my handbag. I took a taxi to reach the hacker's place, and by the time I arrived, the sun had almost set.
I entered the place and found a man there. I asked him if he was Amit, but he said that Amit had gone out and that he was Amit's friend, Noah. I agreed to wait for him. However, after an hour, Amit didn't arrive. I asked Noah about him, and he said that Amit had gone to meet a client. As it was getting dark, I left the building and started walking. Suddenly, a car approached me, and a man got out of it. His eyes froze my heart, and his appearance made my heart race. He asked me who I was, and I told him that my name was Ridhi Akshar. He introduced himself as Amit Antony and asked me if I was Lily's friend. I said yes
He took me to his workplace, and I hid behind him so that Noah wouldn't see me at that late hour. Noah was surprised to see me but apologized for not recognizing me earlier. Amit asked me if I wanted to drink coffee, but I refused. However, he gave me a cup of coffee anyway and asked if I would like to stay there for the night. I cleared my throat and said I couldn't. But then I agreed to stay. He asked for my phone, and I gave it to him. He started working on his system, and I watched him in awe.
I wondered if this was fate or what?
