I'M GOING TO BE the first to say it, I'm confused❞Emmett sighed placing his hands on his hips looking at the printed pages of her mothers book her father had printed out

"ditto"Pedro chugged his beer Nayeli bit her nail looking at the book that was basically a guide for all this supernatural"where the hell do we even begin?"

"the beginning"Everyone turned around Harry Clearwater and Billy Black were in the doorway"Pedro called us and said he needed our help"

Nayeli nodded accepting all the help she could get. Emmett stood up clearly uncomfortable in the presence of wolves. Nayeli furrowed her brows until she remembered the treaty she had heard about from Bella.

"you can go Emmett if you want I'll fill you in"Nayeli spoke calmly Emmett nodded and left giving her a kiss on the head

"good riddance"Harry Clearwater muttered Nayeli turned to him sharply

"let's begin at the beginning when balancers had become a staple in the shapeshifter world"Billy Black cleared his throat"Balancers have been around for as long as the Quileute tribe have been around, Balancers are to be protected by wolves and cold ones if a balancer is to die their offspring is to keep their power and take on the job of keeping us alive"Billy explained Nayeli listened taking in all the information as he broke it down as best as he could

"but I don't get it my mom saw the future I don't see anything"

"you haven't opened your eyes yet but you will and when you do I hope that you are ready"Nayeli nodded this was her mothers legacy and she'll make sure her sacrifice wasn't in vain

"I'm ready"She assured everyone in the room

Everyone in the room knew that Nayeli was worthy of this. With smiles and nods of approval everyone had the same silent promise and that was to help Nayeli unlock her full potential.
