"When will he come?" I ask.

He looks... sad and disappointed. I sit down beside him.

"He's different." Jiang Cheng says.
"What do you mean by different?" I ask.
"His eyes... they're gone." Jiang Cheng breathe.
I draw back. My eyes widen.
"What?" I ask in shock.
He takes my hand.
"He's blinded by something." Jiang Cheng says.
"Is... is that why he disappeared all this time?" I ask.
"Yes." He says.
I look down.
"But... he's going to come back soon." Jiang Cheng says.
"Can I go see him?" I ask.
He looks down. I know. I know. I can't. This journey... I really hope Lan Zhan knows what he's doing. I knew he's alive. I know he's out there somewhere. He has to be. I hope he can come home. I've missed him so much.
