Chapter Seventeen

"Hey, songbird. I bet you couldn't wait to see me in person." I told her a lightly-hearted joke. "Can't wait to show everyone in school that you're my girlfriend."

She looked jaw-dropper in anything really but she didn't look embarrassed that I saw her in a towel. Yes, my girl was full-body confident without even breaking a sweat and then she disconnected the call as I waited for a while until she called me on a normal call this time. Her confidence has grown beautifully more than ever.

"Hold up I didn't know that I was on Facetime With you or otherwise you wouldn't have seen me dress in only a towel."

Everyone else who this has ever happened to in the book must have thought that this might be an embarrassing moment for me but I had lived through the other embarrassing moments in my life so I chose to continue to be confident with my head held high and changed the subject of course.

Anywho, he was my secret boyfriend after all and i couldn't have sworn by the look on his face whether he had liked the view or not of my body and thankfully I didn't drop my towel even though it almost slipped out my body when I quickly hold it on tightly with my grasp as I put my phone on speaker while I was getting dressed up for university.

"By the way, you look absolutely stunning in blue." He complimented me with a smile that happened to show one of his dimples.

Well, he definitely made my choice for what I was wearing today as I decided to surprise him by wearing a dark blue mini dress, having my short-length hair curled and I might have appeared by the rink later on to cheer for him.

"Aw, thank you and Mase. I think I'm ready to let our secret not be a secret anymore."I muttered quietly so no one could hear me but only him.

Nothing good ever come out of holding from past relationship where bickering had turned into a massive fallout as well as heart break from unloyal boyfriends starting with them trying to control me or make me feel inferior to them to finally come out of a diabetic that i had been covering with a cargo pant or boyfriend jeans so imagine wearing a dress where i could finally been able to be my conformable self without fainting or losing my footing on the floor.

Although, Mase does tend to made my knees buckled whenever i see him. The truth behind me wanted us to keep our relationship a secret not because i was ashamed of us however, i didn't want the extra set of gossiping of why was one of the hottest hockey players in university would wanted date a wannabe singer like school gossip was the worse no matter if it wasn't about you even though, everyone wishes there were untouchable by it.

On the other hand, I wasn't afraid of it, in fact I was going to be loud and proud of it. Some secrets can either had the power to made you or destroyed you which was why i would rather killed two birds with one stone for example, there were loads of celebrities who lived with different disabilities or medical conditions for ages, yet they didn't let it stop them nonetheless, i bet none of them had their exes to put them on a diet of only consist twice a week of salad.

Furthermore, i would rather let one secret come out for now just in case everything was chaotic and eventful. I used to be a figure skater until the age of twelve when I realized that I had type one diabetes. Now that I wear the pod it has been slightly easier for me. Revived my memories lane had sudden made me hungry for some grilled cheese with soup that i decided to rushed into the kitchen to made myself some of the food that i craved so dearly right now in this very instant whilst i singing Just One Look by Julia MIcheals to be busy being in my own world to noticed one of my closest friend and roommate Jessa walked right into the kitchen who didn't seemed too fazed about my performance because she vibed constantly with me singing including dancing to the tops of our lungs.

"Know that we all have afternoon sessions of classes to attend but we're going to the boys hockey practice...."Avena stopped for a millisecond before she realized that she stood in the middle of a vibes music session and then she joked "i know you guys aren't having fun without me."

Charlie would definitely call this moment a Grease one, she loved musicals even if she might come off as an artsy Sandy but she was much more than she appeared to be. The three of them as in Avena, Charlie and Natalia joined in for a couple of minutes as I swiped my pod on my left leg to check my blood sugar levels as well as taking a break to do my injection before eating my brunch. A smashed word means Breakfast plus lunch equal brunch. Feeling a little cold, I wore a dark blue and golden striped bomber jacket that had the words champion written across the chest part of my jacket and I was wearing white trainers.

An hour later, I showed up late at the locker room to see him as he stood still whilst staring at me with the biggest grin on his face and we didn't have time to chat to our friends about us which means that we would have to do it another day.

In life, I like to find the simplicity in things that matter the most to other people, for instance when Jessa used to date Erick.. Ethan or whatever his name was but I was no.. I still am a major shipper of Ajay. You know Asher and Jessamyn. Let's not forget about how I knew that Holden and Natiala both loved each other from the beginning except they were both too stubborn to see it. Then I was happy when they were fake-dated even though it feels real for them. Last but not least, Avena and Wyatt, Grayson and Flora, I think that Charlie hasn't been able to find an unconditional love person yet since she was just in a spiritual relationship with god and herself to find her destiny. Good for her.

At the end of the twelve o'clock we all have our own story to tell.
