Hindi na ko nauubusan ng bashers. Hanubanaman! Bawat post ko may negative comment. What's wrong with people? You're not doing anything to them yet they hate and say bad things to you. Bakit di na lang sila mag-focus sa buhay nila? They're just wasting their time bashing artists like me. Eh wala naman silang napapala dun. Wait, meron pala. Nasasaktan nila yung binabash nila and nagkakaroon sila ng kaaway. Is it good hurting others? Are they happy when they're having an enemy? I don't understand people nowadays. Smh
"Inaaway ka nanaman nila?" Kylie asked.
"Hm?"
"Hindi nanaman kasi mapinta yang mukha mo. I saw what you have posted on IG and isa lang ang masasabi ko, you're a Goddess."
"Isa ba yun? Tatlo yun eh."
She glared at me that made me laugh.
"Pilosopo alert. Anyway, I read all the comments and I must say that you're truly a kind-hearted and humble woman. Hindi mo sila pinapatulan in words. Pinapatulan mo sila by your achievements and by saying thank you and blocking them."
"Wow! Stalker lang?" I asked.
She glared once again.
"Fine! Seryoso na. That's the only way I know eh. Alam kong I can't please everyone. We have different opinions but yung iba kasi sobra na. Wala naman akong ginagawang masama eh. Did I deserve to be bash by them?"
I felt a tear fell down. I'm crying. Why am I still affected? I thought sanay na ko pero hindi pa pala.
"Sssshhh."
She hugged me. I need this.
"Akala ko hindi na ako maaapektuhan pero akala ko lang pala yun."
"Hush. You're a good woman Julie. Kung madami kang bashers, triple nun ang mga nagmamahal sayo. Nandito kami. Yung fans mo. We are all here for you. Don't mind them. Nabasa ko din yung mga comments ng mga fans mo, pinagtatanggol ka nila. Yes, they're saying harsh words but I think they're just their way to express their anger and protect you from them."
I didn't answer. Ninamnam ko lang mga sinabi nya and cry and cry and cry until I felt tired.
"Wait lang. Kukuha lang ako ng tubig."
I just nod. Then, inayos ko na sarili ko. I wiped away my tears and nag-retouch.
After a couple of minutes, she came back holding two bottles of water.
"Here."
"Thanks." I smiled.
"Alam mo, bilib talaga ako sayo. Although you're hurt, you're still smiling. How can you do that?"
"Madali lang. Just lift up your cheeks without using your hand."
She do it.
"There you go."
"Pilosopo ka talaga kahit kailan eh no?"
Natawa nanaman ako.
"Being happy although I'm hurt is for all the people who love me. Ayokong idamay kayo, sila. I used to smile when everyone is watching but when I'm alone, I'm crying. Tao din ako. Nasasaktan din. Hindi ba nila naisip yun? Hindi ko naman sila pinipilit na mahalin ako. Ang akin lang, sana alam nila ang ibig sabihin ng respeto. Kung ayaw nila akong i-respeto as an artist, i-respeto nila ako bilang tao."
"Ganyan na talaga ang mga tao ngayon. We can't please them naman. Alam mo Jules, ang strong mo. Madaming nagbabash sayo pero you're still you. Walang nagbabago. Humble ka parin. Piling artist na lang ang may ugaling katulad niyan. Nakakaproud kang tunay. Proud ako sayo lalo na fans mo. They are still there behind your back no matter what. Bilib din ako sa fans mo. Kahit napapaaway na sila, pinagtatanggol ka parin nila. Kahit minsan nasasaktan sila o napapahamak sila, hindi ka parin nila iniiwan. You have a kind and strong fan base Julie. Wag mong hayaang mawala sila. Apprecite them. That's the only way. At alam kong ginagawa mo yun. Nakikita ko naman kung gaano mo sila kamahal."
"Mahal na mahal ko sila. I'm not treating them as my fans but my friends. I'm so proud to have them" I smiled. A real smile.
She only answered me with a smile.
"Oo nga pala girl, bet ko yung my pleasure mo ah. Magawa nga minsan yun"
I laughed.
"Baliw ka talaga."
"Ang cool kaya. Anyway, andito lang si ate ha."
I smiled.
"Thank you."
Then, I hugged her.
"Aim high! Keep rockin' the free world. Don't mind your bashers. Haters gonna hate."
I just nod.
"Take na." the director shouted.
Just do your best Julie Anne. Smile lang. Hayaan mo na sila. Insecurity kills. Basta ikaw wala kang ginagawang masama sa kanila.
