Sam is jogging around a lake, early in the morning.
"I remember this." Sam groans, sending a dirty look at Steve, who is currently keeping a far to innocent look on his face
Steve, jogging faster passes him and says that he's on Sam's left.
They get farther around the lake. Steve passes him again and says he's on Sam's left.
Sam notes that Steve's on his left and says he's got it.
They are still jogging. Sam looks over his shoulder to see Steve. Sam tells him not to say it.
"Say it!" A Hufflepuff first year yells out
Steve says he's on Sam's left.
"You're such a dick sometimes." Clint snickers as Steve smirks
Sam tries to catch up with him, but can't and stops.
"No use trying, only Speedy Gonzalaz over there can run faster than Steve on the team." Henry says, ignoring Pietro's sputter at being called that.
Sam is sitting under a tree trying to catch his breath. Steve is walks up to him and asks if he needs a medic.
Sam says he needs a new set of lungs. He tells Steve that he ran 13 miles in 30 minutes.
Steve says that he got a late start.
Sam tells him that he should be ashamed of himself and says he should take another lap.
Sam asks if he just took the lap and says he assumes he just took it.
"Please I'm not that fast." Steve says
"Pietro is, and that Red Speedster in Central City." Harley says, everyone ignoring Pietro's grumbling about the Central City speedster wearing to much red and having a terrible fashion sense
"Ignore him, he's just jealous that he lost to the guy." Anastasia says
"I still say he cheated." Pietro sulks
"Speedster?" Alexander asks in confusion, Henry patting his head "If you guys ever visit the compound we'll tell you all about the other heroes not in the Avengers. There's even have a glowing green guy in Coast City."
"Green Lantern is what he calls himself." Anastasia says as Sam hums "I actually have a friend that lives there, Hal Jordan. I need to try to get ahold of him sometime." Sam says
"There's a Green Lantern on Earth?" Thor asks in surprise "They're a part of this peace keeping Corp in space. But they usually avoid Asgardian territory." Thor tells the group
"I just realized Clint, William and I are the only normal people on the team." Henry says
Strange snorts, getting a look from Toni, Strange signaling he'd tell her later
Steve asks him what unit he's with.
Sam says he was with Pararescue but now he's working at the VA. He introduces himself.
Steve introduces himself as well. Sam says he put that together.
Sam says that coming home after the defrosting thing must've freaked Steve out.
Steve says it takes some getting used to and tells Sam that it was good to meet him.
He turns to leave. Sam asks him if its his bed.
