꧁☬ The next morning she woke up in a bed that wasn't hers. She felt sick and her body was shivering. She recognised her dried clothes laying over the fireplace. Zeke's smell was in the air, but he wasn't around. She yawned and laid back down. She fell back asleep, but not for long. She got woken up by loud noises. When she opened her eyes she noticed Zeke in the room. He was covered in blood. «Good morning Angel. I didn't mean to wake you up.» He said while taking his shirt off, walking to his bathroom. She could see every single muscle moving in his back. He closed the door and she could hear the shover running. He came back after a while, wearing a black sweatpants and a white shirt. «You look sick.» He said, while walking up to the big bed. «I don't feel well..» She said, rubbing her forehead while sitting up. He sat down beside her and gently rubbed her back. «Why are you so nice to me?» He laughed. «Because now, no one can take you away from me. No one. I own a part of your fucking soul, angel.» She looked up to him. «You act like I married you.» He started laughing. «No, I didn't marry you. But I promised you protection. I am giving you that protection.» She shrugged. ☬꧂
꧁☬ «Did you see Theodore?» He nodded. «He's in training.» She looked curious. «Training for what?» He tapped twice against the thick scar on his arm. «Oh..» She gulped. «Do you have another blanket?» He touched her forehead. «You have high fever..» He patted her head and wrapped the blanket closer around her. He stood up and walked over to his cabinet. He came back with a black blanket. «Here.» He placed it over her as well. A black shadow ball formed in his hand. It created a silver necklace with a black jewel. «Here. It's created by my chasing shadows, so if somethings wrong, I'll be there.» He gave it to her and then left the room. She sighed and went back to sleep. ☬꧂
