Adara Star Santiago's POV

"MAGJOWA SIGURO ANG MGA 'YON."

My brows furrowed upon hearing Brix's statement. "Paano mo naman nasabi?" I asked. "Wala lang, feeling ko lang." He shrugged his shoulders and smiled.

I looked away as I scanned Annarih's office. Plain ang design, puro black and white. "So, what do you think?" I shifted my gaze back to him when he began speaking again. I raised my eyebrow, indicating that I'm all ears on what he's about to say.

"What do you think we should do para malaman kung sino ang nanggugugulo sa organization?" he continued. I knew he was going to say that. I smiled.

"Ikaw? Ano sa tingin mo? I'm out of ideas na kasi considering that all of the ideas I could think about fail," I responded.

"Hindi ko rin alam, eh, pero I was thinking maybe we could start by taking a look at the timeline kung tuwing kailan tayo ginugulo. Baka makatulong." I nodded. "We'll wait until Annarih gets back. Maybe she could share her plan."

"She already has a plan?" I asked. "That was fast."

He shrugged again. "I don't know, I'm not sure, pero according to Lord Vandrous, she's intelligent."

"I see." I flashed a little smile on my face.

He took his phone at tsaka ito kinalikot. I guess he's bored.

Once again, I looked over Annarih's plain office. Kasing-plain siguro ng office niya ang buhay niya given how she treated us earlier.

She's intelligent?

We'll see about that.

We didn't go this far for nothing. I can block all the information that they can acquire. I swear I will do everything just to prevent them from knowing something.

Walang-wala iyang katalinuhan ni Annarih.

I looked at Brix. He's still busy using his phone. I rolled my eyes bago kinuha ang phone mula sa bag to text someone.

Jaize Annarih Vera's POV

"Sure kang okay ka lang, ah?" Ang kulit! "Oo nga," sagot ko. Naglalakad kaming dalawa pabalik sa office ko.

"Okay, sabi mo, eh," pagsuko niya.

"Basta kapag nagkaproblema, call me, okay?" I nodded and smiled. "Thank you."

He nodded and smiled back bago ako tinalikuran. I sighed bago ako pumasok sa office para harapin ang dalawa only to see them using their phones.

"What are you doing?" I asked. They looked at me with confusion. "Nakabalik ka na pala," Brix mumbled and stood up. Lalapitan niya pa sana ako but I raised my hand, signalling him not to walk near me.

"Why are you using your phones? Aren't you supposed to brainstorm? We have to plan something by now," I stated. Naiinis ako kasi mas may time pa silang gumamit ng phone kaysa mag-isip ng gagawing hakbang to prevent whoever it is na nagtatangkang magpabagsak sa amin.

"Relax, Annarih." Brix laughed as if I was telling a joke.

"We talked about it naman pero we've decided to wait for you para sabay nating mapag-usapan and also, para walang miscommunication," Adara interfered.

I scoffed. "Sige nga, anong napag-usapan ninyo?" tanong ko. Nagkatinginan naman sila. Hindi agad nakasagot. I rolled my eyes. "See-

"We should look at the timeline kung tuwing kailan nangyayari iyong pagsabog sa mga site," Brix cut me off.

"You know you don't have to be so harsh," Adara muttered in a low tone. "Whatever," I answered. I took a few steps and sat on my vanity chair.

"So, can we sit again?" Brix asked with a smile. I took a deep breath once more before nodding. "Great," he whispered.

"Lord Vandrous said you're intelligent, I bet may naiisip ka nang paraan on how we could find out the truth behind all the chaos," he added as soon as he got seated.

I looked at both of them for a while.

Janella Diaz, also known as Agent Top, asked as soon as she entered the office. I stood up and motioned my hand, telling her to sit on the chair I was sitting earlier.

"Agent Top, we want to ask you about something..." Lord Vandrous paused for a moment and glanced at me. "...important about Annarih."

Janella's eyes were filled with confusion. "Why? What's wrong with Annarih?"

"I find it quite alarming that she's been focused on searching her parents' culprits rather than focusing on her work here," Lord Vandrous explained. "Ayaw niyang magpapigil, hindi siya mapagsabihan man lang. I hate to say this but sooner or later, she may become a threat to our organization."

"And?" Janella responded. "What do you want me to do then?" she asked. She laughed sarcastically. "Lord Vandrous, it seems to me that you're underestimating my best friend's capabilities. Other than that, you are invalidating her. I thought you are already aware how important it is for her to learn the truth behind the murder of her parents?" she clarified.

"My friend was just young when she lost her family. A part of her died when her parents died. You can't just expect a person to let go of the past, especially when there's a lot of question left."

"Pero ginagamit niya si Lady Harris. She wants Lady Harris to handle-

"It's no problem to me, I'm happy to help," putol ko sa sinasabi ni Lord Vandrous pero hindi pa rin siya kumbinsido.

"I'm just looking out for all of us. Importante kayong lahat sa akin at ayokong may mapahamak sa inyo," he cleared.

"Kung importante po si Annarih sa inyo ay maiintindihan mo ang side niya. Mahalaga sa kanya ang makamit ang hustisya. It will not only give peace to her parents, but it will also heal her. She can't and will never move on until she finds them."

"And what do you think we should do then?" Lord Vandrous asked.

Janella looked at me as if telling me that I should be the one to give a response so I turned my gaze on Lord Vandrous.

"Let her seek justice if that's what she needs," I declared.
