A cold gust of wind entered the room while two people gazed at eachother. "Sir the recent cases from our town are getting higher and higher.." Jiro said. A person from a chair turns around and said "i see, call 'her' in, a woman with long violet hair opened the door and let out a cold stare. "miss Zakura Misuze" the old man on the chair said. "mr takashi, a pleasure to meet you" Takashi signaled his assistant (Jiro) to bring the files over, Misuze read through the pages of the reports scanning them quickly "im sure you know well why i have called you over ms. Zakura" takashi said "i know what my duty is ofcourse, although i need some more information from the investigations and the police that handled the case, id like to know more about the missing cases" Misuze said "ms Zakura, i have you know that some families of the deaths are much more comfortable with their information and other personal things hidden, not even half the police that is trying to solve the case know it!" takashi said with a sigh at the end "i see then, I'll make sure to get the best out of this sudden murder crime" Misuze left the room with the documents on hand while she fixed her glasses.

Misuze was driving back to her apartment, on the way she saw faries hanging decorations from festivals, witches oh the witches flying again with the fellow students from their school, descendants of lady kitsune arriving at the shrine, Vampires ones again flying all over, this.. This is Kazekono City a city where magical creatures live, people with abilities, and people who are mere human and who dont. The Kaze(Wind) festival is only in two weeks. Misuze arrived at her apartment and ordered ramen and soda, she dropped the documents down the table, she was ready to 'easily' solve the case, or she thought. Misuze sorted through the files, page by page, writing everything on note looking for a sign or connection. "Ahh jeez these are murder cases seriously important" She sighed as she continued to take notes, the sound of the pencil continues to scratch on the page. Two hours later, she listed out the names of the victims who were showed in public 1,2, and 3 victims.

Yamada Mizuki, a member of the esteemed Yamada Clan and identified as a Tanuki, led a modest existence marked by familial loss and resilience. Following the passing of her mother, she and her younger brother relied solely on their father for care and support, navigating the complexities of life within the clan's traditions and teachings.

Meanwhile, Tatsuki Hiro hailed from the formidable Tatsuki Clan, carrying the lineage of the Oni within him. Bereft of both parents, Hiro found solace and guidance under the wing of his uncle, who not only provided him with a home but also imparted the ancient arts and combat skills intrinsic to the Oni heritage. Through rigorous training and mentorship, Hiro honed his abilities, forging his identity amidst the shadows of his clan's legacy.

As far as records indicate, Mona stood as a singular figure within Kazekono city, bearing the unique distinction of possessing genetic lineage from two distinct species groups. Within the city's intricate social fabric, delineations exist between traditional species and those categorized as additional, the latter having integrated into Kazekono society some five centuries prior. In this era of coexistence, tensions between the groups had long since subsided, fostering an atmosphere of harmony and mutual respect among its diverse inhabitants.

Traditional: Kitsunes, Tanuki, Oni, Neko, etc.
Additional: Witches, vampires, sea monsters, warewolves, etc.

Misuze undertook the solemn duty of delving into the lives of the deceased, embarking on a journey that involved not only visiting the grieving families of the victims but also discreetly seeking insights from individuals whose stories had yet to be brought into the public eye. As the lunar cycles waxed and waned, each phase marking the passage of time with its ethereal glow, the chilling symmetry of seven moons, seven deaths, and seven rises and falls loomed ominously over Kazekono city, hinting at a pattern too precise to be mere coincidence.
