Ivar Ragnarson, also known by his infamous epithet Ivarr hinn Beinlausi, is the youngest of five brothers and the four sons of Ragnar Lothbrok and Princess Aslaug.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the years after Ivar and Ursula have met, they marry each other by the time Ivar turned 18 and Ursula turned 23.
When Ragnar came back to Kattegat for the first time in many years, he was understandably very shocked to his once cripple son walk freely on his feet. Even more so, when he meets Ursula, his new daughter-in-law, standing beside him.
Ivar was very conflicted over his father's return much like his brothers. And having just recently discovered that Ursula was pregnant, he has a far better reason to not go with his father in his mad quest to sail to England once again.
At Ursula's urging, however, Ivar does go, with a warning that Ragnar will use his son to continue a bloody, vengeful legacy. Ivar wisely heeds his wife's words, for her knowledge of the future is not to be discarded so easily, if ever.
It takes over a year before Ivar returns. His father dead by being eaten alive by venomous snakes. Queen Aslaug dead by being shot in the back by Earl Lagertha, and his wife having very nearly isolated herself in their longhouse with their 3-month-old son, Einar.
In the years that follow, Ivar carves a legacy of his own as the ruthless, wise, and bloodthirsty Viking Warlord as he sets to conquer nearly all of England, Scotland, and Ireland.
He and Ursula live on to have three more children of their own, another son and two daughters, and numerous grandchildren, before they pass away peacefully in their sleep well into their 80's.
