I've been watching Vikings in lockdown and I've always loved The Originals and their flashbacks to their human days in Viking times; and this idea to combine them came into my head. So I looked for crossover fanfics and I couldn't find very many. Therefore, I thought I would share my ideas with you all!

There were few vikings that were as hungry for expansion as the great Ragnar Lothbrok. One that proved the most ravenous was Ragnar's youngest son, Ivar. The son with the boneless leg and those hungry blue eyes.

Post series Vikings AU. Ivar and Hvitserk return to Kattegat after their defeat in England, and for a time life returns to a kind of normal, until Ivar's brittle bones begin to affect his hearing. Faced with the terrifying possibility that he will lose his ability to hear, and with it his ability to communicate and the words that have always been his power, he does what Ivar does best, and ignores the problem. Luckily for Ivar, he has a brother that cares. When Hvitserk introduces him to a woman who has been deaf since birth, Ivar's whole world changes for the better.

Opposites attract, no matter the time or place. When the Vikings reached their gates, her brother had only one solution in mind, to marry her off to the Viking King. An arranged marriage was supposed to be only political, but little did they know, both of their fates would change with that wedding.

Given an opportunity to travel to a new world and learning magic from a magical book is swell. Not for (Y/N), being forced into a forgotten family business that requires her to risk her life. However, there are perks like meeting characters you admire and experiencing a change in history. Yet, the things that lie within her blood may reveal dark secrets that'll demand changes in (Y/N).

Synopsis: I am Ivar, son of Ragnar Lodbrok and Aslaug, I am of course the chasuble, my father died not long ago and we avenged his death, now, my brothers went without me to Rome, minus Hvitserk, my favourite brother, Bjorn gave us the punishment for killing Sigurd when he tried to kill us, but I don't care, alone or not I intend to conquer the kingdom of Norway, I will proclaim myself king, those who oppose me will be killed.
