Chapter 24

*Sierra's POV*

This party is insane, I thought to myself as I pushed my way through the crowd. It was 2 a.m. but the party was still goin' hard. I shoved my way through the crowd that surrounded the dance floor. A few guys let out loud wolf whistles as I walked by but I just ignored them and kept moving through the crowd. As I got to the edges of the crowd, I spotted Niall, Harry, Zayn, and Erin standing along the wall where we all agreed to meet. Fake I.D. by Big & Rich blared through the speakers as people had gathered around to watch people that new the steps to the dance

"Hey!" I shouted as I exited the crowd and walked over to them. "Are y'all ready to leave now?!"

"No, not yet! We have something to do before we leave!" Harry let a mischievous grin cross his face before turning to Rachel who had just stepped into the little circle we had made. Niall placed his arm around my shoulder and pulled me into his chest. I let my head rest there and my eyes close as I let out a sigh. It had been a really long day, and honestly, I was ready to go home and sleep.

"We have a surprise for you and the girls." Niall whispered into my ear. I just nodded my head and rested there. It was so nice just to be able to relax with Niall. No evil whore to try and drive a wedge between us.

"Guys! Lets go!" shouted Louis.

"Louis! Calm down, please!" That would be Liam.

"Alright, love. I'll be right back. Make sure you and the girls stand right in front of the stage, alright?" And with that, he kissed me head and left with Harry, Liam, Zayn, and Louis.

"Come on! We have to get up there!" shouted Lexi as she jumped up and down where she stood.

"Alright, lets go before Lexi explodes with excitement." I chuckled and led the way to the front of the stage.

"What do you think they are doing?" I said mostly to myself.

"Seriously, Sierra? What would the world famous boy BAND be doing on a stage?" Rachel said in a sarcastic voice. Erin and Lexi giggled and tried to cover it with some pretty fake coughing.

"Hey, nobody ever called me smart. And I will point out that it is 2 in the morning!" I retorted.

"Yeah, yeah. Just watch for the boys."

All of a sudden a slow beat came through the speakers and I looked up on stage. Niall looked so handsome in his simple outfit of jeans, a white t-shirt, and a pair of cowboy boots. Where did he get those from, I though to myself. Niall came and stood in front of me while Harry stood in front of Rachel, Zayn stood in front of Erin, Louis stood in front of Lexi, and Liam just picked some random girl.

A crowd had gathered behind us and girls were trying to push and shove their way to the front.

Liam started the song off while staring at the girl who had already started to swoon.

Shut the door, turn the light off

Harry took over and knelt down to grab Rachel's hand and pull her up on stage with him.

Niall started and I immediately knew what he would do. He came closer and took my hand but before he pulled me up on the stage, he placed a gentle kiss on my hand. My face grew red and I knew I looked like a tomato.

Close the door
Throw the key

My judgement is clouded
Like tonight's sky

Louis started his verse but instead of pulling Lexi up on stage, he jumped off the stage and picked her up bridal style and carried her back up on stage. I laughed from where I was wrapped up in Niall's arms.

Hands are silent
Voice is numb
Try to scream out my lungs
It makes this hard girl
And the tears stream down my face

Harry sang his final verse as he rested his forehead against Rachel's.

Zayn sang his heart out as he knelt down and brushed some hair away from Erin's face before pulling her up on stage also. I sighed happily as I leaned into Niall's chest and let the song fill my ears.

Flashes left in my mind
Going back to the time
Playing games in the street
Kicking balls with my feet
Dancing on with my toes
Standing close to the edge
There's a pile of my clothes
At the end of your bed
As I feel myself fall
Make a joke of it all

"I love you," Niall whispered in my ear as the last notes of the song played out. This night turned out to be so perfect, I thought to myself.
