When humans die, they don't go to hell or heaven, instead they appear in front of Life and Death where they give you a choice, you can die and you can live a longer life by helping them in fix the universe. If you ask what do you by fixing the universe like Iseul did, they would answer you: By becoming something else, by going somewhere and changing the world. Iseul was one of the few people who said yes, despite their weird answer.

Iseul died at the age of eighteen years old. Killed by her step mother for getting everything in her fathers will after he died. Death and Life made her a demon. For around ninety years, Iseul worked in Nexus Arcanum, along side several other creatures. Ninety years and still she hadn't gone to change the world, but Iseul didn't really mind, sometimes she liked not changing the world, and she would wait as long as she had to.

Today, hit her ninety first year mark. Ninety one years she has been working at Nexus Arcanum, and she has made wonderful friends along the way, all of them who have not gone on a mission yet. But today was the day. Death and Life had finally chosen them.
