XIII. | Different

Angelica had been sleeping peacefully in bed when she was awoken by the sounds of someone who was crying. She opened her eyes to see Kai sitting on the edge of the bed. He was crying

"Kai..?" She asked softly

"D-Don't.. look at me" Kai said as he shooed her away. His voice broken and it was evident that his throat was sore. Angelica crawled over to his side of the bed and then wrapped her arms around him. She'd never seen him like this. Never. She could only assume it was due to the merge

"Baby.. it's okay, talk to me. I'm here for you"  Angelica cooed into his ear

"Something's not right.. t-there's something wrong with me.. I feel bad.. it hurts.. it fucking hurts" Kai cried out

"What hurts?" Angelica asked

"My chest.. it's.. it's like.. it's like it's being squeezed to death.. it fucking hurts.. m-make it stop.." Kai cried out. Angelica nodded in understanding and ran her hands across his chest, trying to comfort him

"What are you thinking about?" She asked him

"The merge.. and Luke.. I can't stop thinking about Luke.. and Jo.. Liv.. and what I did.. why?! I've never cared before! Why?!" Kai cried out

"Hey, hey.. it's okay.." Angelica told him

"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.. I haven't been good to you.. I'm a horrible person.." Kai cried

"I forgive you.. I always forgive you.. You could never do wrong in my eyes.. you know that?" Angelica asked him. Kai turned to look at her. His eyes were bloodshot and swollen. His cheeks soaked in his tears

"You're too good to me.. I don't deserve it.." Kai cried as he stared into her eyes. Angelica cupped his cheek and wiped his tears

"You absolutely deserve it.. I love you.. I love you so, so much.. You just tell me what you need" Angelica told him

"I just.. I just need you" Kai breathed out. Angelica nodded as Kai began gripping at her shirt. She put her hand on his and helped him lift it up over her head. His lips captured hers and the kiss was soft and slow

"I'm right here.. if this is what you need.. I'll give it to you" Angelica spoke softly before carefully pushing him down onto the bed. His head hit the pillow and Angelica straddled him. She leaned down and left light kisses on his jaw and neck

"I'll take care of you.. I'll make you feel better.. I promise" She told him

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what I did. I regret what I did to my siblings. I wish I could take it back. I ruined their lives. I killed them. I'm sorry. If I could take it back, I would. They didn't deserve that. You guys had lives and I just took that from you. I had no right to do that. I was your big brother and I just killed you like it was nothing, and for what? To get back at Dad? It wasn't worth it. If I could back, I'd change how I handled things

Luke, I'm sorry that I won. You should've won. You're a better person than me. I don't deserve to live. You should've been able to live your life, and I took that. Just like I always do. I ruin everything. Everything I touch, I ruin. Perhaps me winning is your way of making me pay for what I've done. I deserve that. I deserve to be tortured for what I did

Josette, I'm sorry for everything. I ruined your life. I terrorized you. You were my twin and I treated you terribly, even when you were nice to me. I traumatized you and I tried to kill you. I'm so sorry. You didn't deserve that. I took out my hatred for Dad on you because you got everything I ever wanted. You were treated good, and I hated you for it. It wasn't your fault. You didn't choose for it to be that way. I was unfair to you, and I'm sorry
