i'm back once again to show the new spongycat redesign i promised!

i think i'm finally in the right place to redesign him after i've had some more experience in drawing larger characters, and i'm happy with the result!
it's a simple one, just because spongy only has like 3 colors to work with so i kinda have to make do with what i got, like using a bit of white (which i am allowed to do in small doses, along with black, but that never really comes up because pure black is kind of a bad color to use in designs outside of lineart)
i've never actually really liked spongy a whole lot, but not because of the whole "he's fat and smelly" stereotype that people seem to like putting onto those who don't like him, i just don't find him very entertaining personality-wise
