characters that have heartmarks (the heart-shaped markings) have one of three types: dark good, dark bad, and colorful
i'm sure you can guess what kind tdcat is
so basically it just changes what dreams they have. dark goods and dark bads have dreams that take place in an empty black void (although there is an entity each inside those voids to keep them company), and colorfuls have "dreamscapes" where they have infinite power and there is a nice colorful landscape (not depicted here because i didnt know how to draw it), and each landscape is different between heartmarkers (those who posess heartmarks). teardropcat's dreamscape is called "crystal canyon" i attempted to draw it once around the time i made this drawing, but it wasn't very good lol, here they are:

the artstyle is weird on purpose, that's not the bad part, it's just the fact that i wasn't very good at drawing backgrounds at the time.
