a depiction of feralcake's special detail i didn't mention earlier... a bright, glowing, cyan scar on his leg from when he initially got to the forest. (i usually refer to it as "teardrop forest")
he got chased away and almost got killed by liycat, leaving a spiritfire-tainted scar. so it wasn't a choice for him to go into the woods, he was just kinda forced to. also basically everyone thinks he's dead since every other cat with missing posters at the exact same time was found dead
