Iblis stood on top of the cross standing atop the mansion, in front of the two moons and she watched her father and the guards capture the assailants and her father looked up at the house, but only saw a black cloaked figure jump down the other side after flicking a bullet shell casing down to him.

Iblis was laying in her bed and her body pulsed and she began to scream in pain as her immense amount of mana was eating away at her soul. Both her father and mother rushed inside her room and to Iblis's side and saw that her body was being devoured as her mana was glowing from the outside of herself.
So much so that her skin was beginning to become more and more pale by the second. Iblis began to sweat profusely and breathe harshly as her temperature spiked up instantly.
Her Father said, Oh no! She's being eaten alive by her own magic! She's gotten the rare Devour syndrome!
