Why is Saturn Mars' parental figure? Well, in the past when Mars used to get into fights and get injured, Saturn would always help heal him and take care of him until he got better. Additionally, Mars is one of the only ones (apart from Jupiter) who doesn't get annoyed when Saturn gets overly emotional over something.
