Nancy- Chris, Cypher, come downstairs, your dad wants to have a word with the both of you

The atmosphere in the room was tense as Jason and Jude sat across from their sons, Christian and Cypher. The two young men exchanged puzzled glances, wondering why they had been summoned by their fathers. Jason cleared his throat, signaling that he was about to speak.

"Boys," he began, his tone serious, "your father and I have come to a decision." He motioned towards Mr. Clinton, the general manager of J & J Empire, who sat beside them.

"This is Mr. Clinton. From now on, he will be your mentor."Jude interjected, his expression grave. "We've realized that old age is catching up to us, and it's time for us to prepare you both to take over the business one day."

Christian furrowed his brow, not entirely sure he liked where this conversation was heading. "What do you mean, Dad?" he asked cautiously

Jude sighed, his gaze shifting between his two sons. "It means that Mr. Clinton will teach you everything you need to know about running a business," he explained.

"He'll be your guide, your mentor, and your teacher."Jason nodded in agreement. "And as part of your training, we've decided to cut you off from your monthly allowances," he declared, his voice firm. "You need to learn how to make money for yourselves."

Cypher's eyes widened in disbelief. "What? You can't be serious!" he exclaimed, his frustration bubbling to the surface

Jude held up a hand, silencing his son. "We've also decided to hire you both as interns at J & J Empire," he continued. "You'll have the opportunity to learn from Mr. Clinton while earning money based on your efforts."

Christian and Cypher exchanged glances, both feeling a mixture of apprehension and resignation. They knew their fathers could be stubborn when they made up their minds, and arguing would only lead to further tension."

So, if you want to earn more than just the minimum wage, you'll need to prove yourselves through hard work and discipline," Jason added, his tone unwavering

Though the news was far from pleasant, Christian and Cypher knew better than to argue with their fathers. With a heavy sigh, they reluctantly agreed to their terms, eager to avoid any further conflict.

"Fine," Christian muttered, his jaw clenched. "We'll do it."Cypher nodded in reluctant agreement, his mind already racing with thoughts of how to navigate this new chapter in their lives

As the meeting came to a close, Jason and Jude exchanged a satisfied glance. They knew that while their decision might not have been well-received, it was necessary for their sons' growth and development. With Mr. Clinton's guidance, they were confident that Christian and Cypher would one day be ready to take the reins of J & J Empire.

The clock struck 2 pm, marking the start of Christian and Cypher's first day of training at J & J Empire. Cypher, eager and punctual as always, arrived at the office promptly, his determination evident in his stride. He glanced around, searching for his friend , but Christian was nowhere to be seen.

Meanwhile, Christian lingered behind at school, torn between attending a visit from a famous artist and honoring his commitment to the internship. Finally, realizing he couldn't afford to miss out on valuable training, he reluctantly bid farewell to the artist's event and hurried to join Cypher at the office

As Christian rushed into the office, slightly out of breath from his hurried journey, he was met with a stern gaze from Mr. Clinton, the general manager. Sensing the tension in the air, Cypher shot his brother a disapproving glance, silently reprimanding him for his tardiness.

Mr. Clinton wasted no time in addressing Christian's late arrival, his tone firm but not unkind. "Christian, we expected you to be here on time," he remarked, his voice carrying a hint of disappointment. "Is there a reason for your delay?"

Thinking quickly on his feet, Christian concocted a half-truth, hoping to placate Mr. Clinton's concerns. "I apologize, sir," he began, his tone apologetic. "I had to meet with a teacher to discuss some academic matters regarding my performance in class."

Mr. Clinton raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical of Christian's excuse, but he chose not to press the matter further. Instead, he shifted gears, addressing Christian's apparent lack of interest in the business."I've heard that you're not particularly enthusiastic about this internship," Mr. Clinton stated, his gaze piercing.

"But let me assure you, Christian, I believe you have great potential. You're a brilliant young man, and I have no doubt that you could excel in the business world."

Christian's cheeks flushed with embarrassment at being called out so directly. He knew he had disappointed his father and Mr. Clinton with his lack of enthusiasm, and he resolved to make amends going forward.

"I understand, sir," Christian replied, his voice tinged with sincerity. "I'll do my best to prove myself and contribute to the success of the company."

Mr. Clinton nodded, his expression softening slightly at Christian's earnest response. "Good," he said, a hint of approval in his voice. "Remember, the future of J & J Empire rests in your hands, and Cypher will need your support as we navigate the challenges ahead."

With that, the conversation came to an end, and Christian resolved to make the most of his internship, determined to prove himself to his father, Mr. Clinton, and, most importantly, to himself. As he took his seat beside Cypher, he couldn't help but feel a renewed sense of purpose and determination for the journey that lay ahead.
