College Happenings

It was another day in college, Christian had just closed from class and decided to use the rest of his time to study in the library while he waits for Cypher. Christian was at the library reading when he spotted a tensed lady .
Christian approaches her with concern Hey there, are you okay? You seem a bit on edge

Stephanie: startled, looks up from her book, grateful for the interruption Oh, hi. Yeah, I'm Stephanie. forces a smile Just trying to focus on studying, you know?

Christian: nodding understandingly Yeah, I get that. gestures to the nearby table Mind if I join you?

Stephanie: relieved by his friendly demeanor Not at all. Please, have a seat

Christian: sitting down, noticing Stephanie's uneasy glances So, what's been bothering you? You seem a little distracted

Stephanie: hesitant at first, then opens up Well, to be honest, there's this guy who's been following me around lately. It's been making me feel really uncomfortable

Christian: concerned That sounds really unsettling. Have you talked to anyone about it?

Stephanie: shaking her head Not really. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. But it's been going on for a while now, and it's starting to really get to me

Christian: sympathetic I'm sorry you're going through that. You shouldn't have to deal with it alone. determined Do you know who he is?

Stephanie: nodding Yeah, his name's Mark. We had a brief encounter a while back, and ever since then, he's been acting weirdly, following me around and showing up wherever I go

Christian: frowning, then reassuringly Don't worry, Stephanie. You're not alone in this. I'll make sure he doesn't bother you anymore. No one deserves to feel unsafe on campus

Stephanie: grateful smile Thank you, Christian. I really appreciate it

Christian: smiling back Of course. Friends look out for each other, right?

Stephanie: nodding emphatically Definitely. And I'm glad I have you looking out for me. As they continued to spend time together in the library and around campus, their friendship blossomed.

It was past the usual time Cypher usually closed from class, and Christian was starting to get worried. He called Mr. Clinton, but he wasn't at the company. So, Christian began searching around campus for his brother. As he walked, he heard cries of pain and shouting coming from a nearby alley. Christian's heart raced as he rushed to investigate, fearing the worst.

When he arrived, he was shocked to see a group of guys surrounding Cypher, who was on the ground, trying to shield himself from the blows

Christian: What's going on here?Upon hearing the voice and seeing the camera , the boys fled

Christian: rushing to Cypher's side What happened?! Why were they beating you up?

Cypher: wincing in pain It's that girl I told you about. Turns out, she has a boyfriend I didn't know about. When I approached her, she told him, and now, here we are

Christian: exasperated Seriously, Cypher? You need to learn to read the signs. You can't just flirt with every girl you meet. There are consequences

Cypher:  Yeah, I know, I messed up. But can you help me up? I can barely move

Christian: helping Cypher to his feet Come on, let's get you patched up. And don't worry, I got it all on video

Cypher: confused Video? What are you talking about?

Christian: smirking Oh, I whipped out my phone when I saw what was happening. Those guys scattered like roaches when they saw the camera. But hey, now I have some leverage against you

Cypher: rolling his eyes Seriously? You're going to blackmail me with a video of me getting beat up?

Christian: grinning You never know when it might come in handy. But in all seriousness, Cyph, maybe this will teach you to be a bit more cautious

Cypher: sighing Yeah, yeah, I get it. Enough of the lectures.

Christian: Just try to stay out of trouble, okay? He said as they made their way back to the parking lot.
