Okay I just cringed at it myself, but all jokes aside he proves everyday that he would die for the ones closest to him, and sometimes when he interacts with Daireon I wish to be loved like that by my parents, I wish to be loved to the point where they would take a bullet for me, but we all know that Scott and Tena could never, I shake my head as I walk into the apartment as Devon closes the door behind him.
"What's wrong?" He asks, I look at him and shake my head before going to the fridge and taking out a bottle of water, "Are you sure?"
"I'm fine," I smile at him, I was fine I just got into my feelings a little bit but I was good.
"Was today not good enough or something?"
I shook my head, "No today was good, it- it was amazing actually, I promise I'm fine," I say walking up to him.
"Nah something's on your mind what is it? You can speak to me Milani," He looks down at me trying to look for a confession in my eyes.
"It's just- I don't know it's not that serious but I just noticed how much you love certain people and I wish people in my life could love me like that," He furrows his brows.
"What do you mean by certain people?"
"Just those people that you truly love in your life, I mean the way you interact and how you protect them, I just wish somebody could protect and love me like that, that's all."
"I don't get it," He shakes his head, I chuckle dryly.
"I knew you wouldn't get it, just forget it," I say walking away into my room.
"Milani, no I get what you're saying I just don't get why you feel that way, I mean you have both your parents who want nothing but the best for you, you have Drea who loves you, Justice may have have a weird way of showing it but she loves you," I scoff at that one, the bitch loved me so much she locked me in a trunk, right.
"And you have me, I love you," he puts emphasis on the 'I' and that's when I break, tears form in my eyes and before I know it I'm sobbing and his arms are wrapped around me, his whole statement just reminded me that not many people love me but I didn't even care as long I knew he loved me.
"Say it again," I mumble in his chest he chuckles.
"I love you, I love you so much," He lifts me up and I wrap my legs around him he whispers in my ear, "You want to go swimming?"
