As Joong rose from his seat, leaving Dunk's room, Dunk's mother emerged from the kitchen, a warm smile on her face as she greeted their unexpected guest.

Mrs. Natachai: "Joong, dear, it was so lovely having you over. Do come again soon."

Joong returned her smile, his expression pleasant but tinged with an unsettling edge that sent a shiver down Dunk's spine.

Joong: "Thank you, Mrs. Natachai. I'll be sure to take you up on that offer."

But before he could make his exit, Joong turned to Dunk with a look that sent a chill racing through Dunk's veins.

Joong's eyes seemed to gleam with an eerie intensity, his smile stretching unnaturally wide as he spoke.

Joong: "And Dunk... Don't forget to leave your windows open."

Dunk's blood ran cold at Joong's words, a sense of dread settling over him like a heavy fog. There was something sinister in Joong's tone, something that sent a surge of primal fear coursing through Dunk's veins.

As Joong left the house, Dunk stood frozen in place, his mind consumed by a sense of looming danger. The air seemed to grow thick with tension, every creak of the floorboards echoing like a harbinger of impending doom.

Dunk's thoughts raced as he watched Joong disappear from view, a sense of unease gnawing at him from the inside out. Whatever Joong's intentions were, Dunk couldn't shake the feeling that they were far from innocent.

With a trembling hand, Dunk closed the door behind Joong, the echoes of his chilling words lingering in the air like a sinister whisper. And as he turned to face the empty hallway, Dunk couldn't help but wonder what darkness lurked behind Joong's enigmatic smile, and what horrors awaited him in the shadows of the night.

Despite the warmth of his bed, Dunk found sleep elusive that night. Joong's unsettling words echoed in his mind, each repetition sending a fresh wave of unease coursing through his body.

With a heavy heart, Dunk eventually succumbed to exhaustion, but even in the depths of sleep, his dreams were haunted by visions of Joong's sinister smile and the ominous warning he had left behind.

The next morning dawned gray and overcast, the air heavy with the promise of impending rain. Dunk rose from bed with a sense of foreboding weighing heavily on his shoulders, the memory of Joong's chilling farewell still fresh in his mind.

As he made his way downstairs, Dunk found his mother and Dnie already seated at the breakfast table, their cheerful chatter doing little to dispel the lingering sense of dread that hung over him like a dark cloud.

Mrs. Natachai: "Good morning, Dunk. Did you sleep well?"

Dunk forced a smile, though his mind was still consumed by thoughts of Joong and his ominous warning.

Dunk: "Morning, Mom. Yeah, I slept fine."

Dnie looked up from her plate, her eyes wide with concern as she sensed her brother's unease.

Dnie: "Are you okay, Dunk? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Dunk managed a weak laugh, though the tension in his chest refused to abate.

Dunk: "I'm fine, Dnie. Just didn't sleep too well, that's all."

But as he settled into his seat and reached for a slice of toast, Dunk couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. The memory of Joong's words echoed in his mind like a sinister refrain, a constant reminder of the danger that lurked just beyond the safety of his own home.

With a heavy heart, Dunk forced himself to push aside his fears and focus on the day ahead. There were classes to attend, friends to see, and a seemingly endless list of tasks to occupy his mind and keep the darkness at bay.

But try as he might, Dunk couldn't shake the feeling of unease that clung to him like a shadow, a constant reminder of the lurking danger that threatened to consume him whole.

With a sigh, Dunk bid his mother and Dnie farewell and set off for school, each step weighed down by the burden of his fears.

As Dunk approached his friends outside the school gates, Pond's voice cut through the morning air like a beacon of familiarity.

Pond: "Dunk! What's up, man?"

Dunk replied, his smile faltering slightly.

Dunk: "Hey, guys! Just another day, you know?"

Force glanced at Dunk, his expression curious.

Force: You seem kinda off today, Dunk. Everything okay?"

Dunk shrugged, trying to downplay his unease.

Dunk: "Yeah, just didn't get much sleep last night,"

But Pond, always perceptive, narrowed his eyes.

Pond: "Alright, man, if you say so. But you know you can talk to us if anything's bothering you, right?"

Dunk nodded, grateful for his friends' concern, even as he battled the lingering dread in his chest.

Dunk: "Thanks, Pond. I appreciate it,"

With his friends around him, Dunk felt a glimmer of reassurance, a reminder that he wasn't alone in facing whatever challenges lay ahead.

They exchanged brief pleasantries, discussing plans for the upcoming weekend and the latest gossip from school. As they entered the building, the conversation flowed more freely, the weight of Dunk's unease momentarily forgotten in the company of his friends.
