What I Think
The mystery in this novel hooked me just like "Manner of Death" did, and while I found the characters likable, the writing style made them seem a bit shady, which was pretty funny. By the end, the revelations truly shocked me. I'm thrilled to hear Sammon is considering a sequel because I'm really looking forward to seeing more about Wasan and Gunn and diving into the unresolved stuff.
