Synopsis

Fuse is a gentle and sensitive boy who is heartbroken because of his girlfriend who cheated on him, so he tries to get over her by getting drunk with his friends at a party. However, he meets his friend Tee there – and ends up sleeping with him that night. How is he going to cope with his new feelings for another boy and just how many boys who struggle with the same feelings are there at his school?

What I Think

I haven't finished the book yet because the English translation isn't complete, but since I've seen the Thai drama, I think I've read about three-quarters of it. I plan to finish the book if new updates come out, but I feel I've read enough to share my thoughts.

I did enjoy the book, more so than the TV show, because we get more insight into the characters' thoughts, which adds depth. But, I ran into the same issue that bothered me in the drama. The story revolves around Fuse, who, after finding out his girlfriend is cheating, ends up drunk and has a one-night stand with his friend Tee. This complicates their relationship, making them more than friends but not quite lovers. What bugs me is how Fuse continues to interact with his cheating girlfriend, hoping for a normal relationship again, which makes it seem like he's using Tee, especially when you see how much Tee genuinely cares for Fuse.

Besides their relationship, there's not much else happening in the story or with the side characters, which is a letdown. It mainly just shows scenes of Fuse's friends trying to copy homework...

I'd only recommend this book if you're a fan of the Thai drama. If you're not, you probably won't enjoy it much. I wasn't a big fan of the drama, but reading the book helped me understand Fuse and Tee better. Still, overall, the book was a bit of a letdown for me.
