THE LOVE THAT I DESERVED

part 12

The next day~

Rimsa woke up by the sound of alarm ringing , she felt emptiness of zaid's side just then the Bathroom door opened with zaid in his praying outfit drying his hair with a towel and by realising that Rimsa was awake he made his way towards her " assalamualaikum , how are you feeling? Do you feel lightheaded " he asked keeping his right hand on her forehead to feel her temperature

"Walaikum assalam , alhamdulillah I'm feeling better than before , I'll go freshen up and pray " saying she avoided looking at him trying to escape from the situation as zaid understood he decided to give her some time to recover and overcome from last night's incident

Like always they prayed together but today Rimsa didn't asked zaid to recite the Qur'an as she herself started reading while zaid quietly listened to her recitation

After reciting she broke the awkward silence " umm , I'm joining my duty from today onwards I hope you won't mind " as he was thinking to take few more days leave but observing her current stubborn behaviour he nodded his head

After a week in the weekend ~

They both were free in the weekend and zaid decided to book an appointment for rimsa's health check up with one of his colleague , a lady doctor as Rimsa would feel less awkward with her

On the other hand Rimsa has different plans for the weekends ,last time zaid had promised her to visit their parents on weekends and she was planning to visit them so now she went to his study room and was going to knock but the door opened making her stumbled upon zaid who held her protectively in swift motion

" Allah !! Zaid you just scared me to death !! I would've fallen down " she exclaimed in shock as he held her more tightly towards him " I'm really sorry darling I didn't knew that you were coming btw I'll never let anything happen to you " he said making her blush

" Hushh , don't flirt dr sayed I wanted to have a talk with you about something important so , can I borrow you for a minute ? " She said batting her lashes with her doe eyes , making her gasp as he picked her up in bridal style making his way towards their shared bedroom

They both sorted out their matter few days ago when zaid took Rimsa to a sea beach for spending some quality time with her and sorting out their matter as Rimsa was also embarassed about how she behaved with him , she also apologized making zaid melt at her sincerity and innocence

"So what you wanted to talk about ? Hmm? Is everything ok ?" He asked worried making her chuckle at him , " everything's fine zeb , you remember that you had told me that we'll visit our family in this weekend ? So ... Tomorrow is weekend and I wanted to visit them " she hesitantly asked

He nodded at her " yes you're right darling but let's spend this weekend here together , we'll visit another weekend ? Hmm? "
"But why?!!!" She whined making him chuckle at her " darling listen to me carefully , as you were getting sick recently few times right ? And it's not good for your health so I was wondering that we can get you a health check up this weekend then we can visit here some of the places or even my penthouse near the beach... hmm? "

He was observing her expression which was neutral , " I'm quite fit and fine I don't need any health check up zaid ! Please you yourself know that how I dread the most visiting hospitals right ?so why !!?"

She whined making him sigh at her knowing it's going to be difficult for him to make her agree , in his whole career he has never encountered any stubborn and grumpy child that he needed to convince to give injection this much that he's doing right now with Rimsa

He softly held her shoulder guiding her towards their shared bedroom , making her sit in the corner of the bed he kneeled infront of her " meri jaan aap samajhne ki koshish kijiye ( my life try to understand please ) the doctor will not give you any injection or hurt you in anyway I promise you that it'll be over within an hour "

"But you already know that I don't like all these then why?!!! And I'm perfectly fine there's no point to get checked " she again tried her luck but he is very strict when it comes to health and safety ," this is the final decision Rimsa and you're going to have a check up , I'm not gonna let it slide when it comes to your health , now let's sleep , we've tomorrow morning appointment "

He sternly stated making her silent , he was sitting in front of her on the side of the bed looking at her getting ready to throw another tantrum but all he got is silence

She was zoned out while he was observing her actions trying to understand what's going on in her mind , this side of zaid reminded her of her father who always used to dominate her and now she's afraid to even ask or talk with him even if she knew that zaid is not that kind of man but still the fear of her father has still have effect on her

She never liked anyone to dominate her , observing her as she was looking down he held her hands softly in his , gently rubbing them inorder to comfort her " I'm sorry sweetheart but it's for your well-being and you know it well right? "

She nodded her head "it's ok I'm feeling sleepy " saying she gently removed her hands from his and silently made her way towards the wardrobe to change into her comfortable PJ's , as of zaid he felt hurt by her behaviour but he is quite confused that why she's so calm and silent till now

Getting up he also made his way to their guest room to change , meanwhile Rimsa came out from washroom noticing that zaid is not present in their room she felt guilty for behaving like this to him

She wasn't able to sleep due to  stress about tomorrow's check up , so she put an Audio horror story on YouTube beside her and hugged her pillow trying to sleep before zaid can notice but luck wasn't on her side as he entered in their shared bedroom

She became stiff in her place but still continued to act like she's sleeping but zaid had already figured out that she's acting like sleeping , so he made his way towards their bed after closing the door , " I know you aren't able to sleep so come here let me cuddle you " he spoke breaking the silence

From the beginning Rimsa has a habit of listening to horror stories while sleeping whenever she face problem in sleeping so zaid had already figured it out . she was still acting but gasped when he encircled his arm around her waist only to push her towards himself  as her back was facing him

He was rubbing her stomach gently still hugging her until she turned off the audio to turn back and face him And placed her head in his arm " I'm sorry ..... For behaving  childishly  before " she mumbled  , he raised an eyebrow before sighing at her
"I told you before Rimsa to be yourself and you don't need to change for anyone , I love the way you are managing things which are new for you , maine apko  kabhi daata hai jab aapka mood swings hota hai ya fir aap kabhi overwhelmed ho jati ho ? .... Hmm? " ( Did I ever have scolded you  when you have mood swings or when you feel overwhelmed ?)

As she shooked her head " then why are you sorry darling ? I know that you're not comfortable with these doctors stuff and that's why you behaved that way but it is for your well being right ? So just chill it's not good for your health to stress too much hmm? Come on hug me and close your eyes try to follow the breathing technique that I thought you earlier ...... Yeah ? "
He kissed her forehead lovingly , rubbing her back softly till she fell asleep , he also fell into deep slumber unknowingly
