epilogue

Four and half years later

I wake up alone in bed and I wonder where Antonio is. I get out of bed go freshen and do my usual routine. I come out of my room once I hear giggles

"Papa, why can't we have waffles and ice cream for breakfast?" I hear a familiar voice ask and I chuckle knowing it's our daughter Cordelia.

"Because my sweetheart it's unhealthy and you want to become a strong girl don't you," Antonio says picking up Cordelia and placing her on the counter.

"Hey Mom," I hear someone say and I look to see it's my son August yawning he must have just gotten out of bed now as he sits down at the table

After Antonio and I got married I immediately became pregnant and I  still went to the hospital and they told me I was going to have twins I immediately fainted. I still remember when I broke the news to Antonio about us having children he couldn't believe it for a whole month he would say I'm going to be a father.

Now that twins are here I can't picture my life without them. I think the reason why we had twins is that Antonio has two amazing twin brothers whom I met a year ago they are overseas busy with their studies.

Cordelia is her father's girl she is always cheeky and throws tantrums and is cocky. Antonio tends to spoil her a lot I sort of have to be the strict parent but I guess that's parenting. My August is the sweetest child he is such an angel he is too soft for his own good he reminds me so much of Antonio though like he just hums Mhm all day but anyway, they are amazing kids.

I go to pour myself coffee and Antonio smirks looking at me and I know why he is smirking at me.

He comes to kiss my head and hugs me," Good morning Colomba," he says

"Dad must also kiss my head," Cordelia says in her baby voice making us laugh he goes to her and kisses her head

Antonio then goes to August and asks, "Hey my Spiderman do you want pancakes for breakfast?" Antonio asks and August

"Mhm," August hums and Antonio shakes his head

"Papa, are you going to teach me again to swim again today?" Cordelia asks and he smiles at her. It took a well for Antonio to get over his fear of water but eventually, he came around. I still remember how I helped him swim with me and how he held onto me and now he is so addicted to swimming that he swims every night

"Only if you save all your kisses for me and not for Mommy," Antonio says bargaining with her

Cordelia looks at me and gives me her puppy eyes pouting, " I'm sorry mommy," she says.

"No more strawberry milkshakes for you then Cordelia only August will get it it," I say going to August and ruffling his hair

"Mom don't drag me into this," August says watching Teen Titans

"But I love you, Mom," Cordelia says pouting at me

"Not enough kiddo," I say faking sad

"I do love you, Mom I just love my papa a bit more," Cordelia says making me laugh Antonio goes to her a picks her up spinning her around

"And Papa loves you," he says kissing her cheeks

I go to August and start tickling him because he is always silent I know he loves tickles as he bursts out laughing
