Previously (skip if you'd like): She knocked, she never did that before unless she knew not to bother him, but it didn't feel right just walking into his office right now. "Come in" Elijah said.
Elena walked through the door and Elijah looked up at her and smiled "Lovely Elena," he stood up from his seat walking over to her. Elena stood there but stepped back once Elijah tried to kiss her "Is something wrong?"
"Did you let Katherine go?" She asked him, Elijah stared at his wife "What?" He was shocked by this. "Elijah Mikaelson, did you let Katherine go?" She asked again her voice rising "I found her, she was at the boarding house with Stefan, Damon, Esther, and Miakel," she said seeing the look on his face "She told me that you told her everything and let her go from one little kiss" she laughed tears coming down her face.
Elijah stayed silent. "Oh" Elena let out a shaky breath. "At least try to lie to me about it" she said in a pleading tone tears coming out faster.
Elijah stepped towards her taking her face in his hands "You would rather have me lie to you about a stupid kiss than be truthful?" Elijah asked, Elena stayed silent "My lovely Elena, I could never lie to you" he said.
