Even a couple of days after telling Max Daisy is still amazed by his reaction. How calm and understanding he was and how he tried to make the best out of the situation. Daisy thought there would have been more emotions when she told him, maybe even that he doesn't believe her because Daisy is sure famous people have to deal with people saying they are pregnant from them way too often.

They didn't talk about much more that day. Max had to leave, needing to be somewhere else, even though he hesitated to leave Daisy, but she managed to convince him that he could leave. She made herself a nice warm bath and tried to wash away all her fears and doubts and for a few hours, everything was fine until the reality hit her again the next morning when she needed to hug the toilet.

Daisy was in bed all Monday long, luckily had a day off from work and even though Max wasn't even in the country anymore he still texted Daisy, making sure she was all right, making her heart flutter with every message he sent her. And after that relaxing day real life was back and the little bubble Daisy lived in for a day was no longer there.

Today Daisy has to overcome another obstacle. It is time to ask Vicky for a day off of work to get her abortion done. She already talked with her gynaecologist about it, let her talk about the risks and anything Daisy might want to know. Her head still turns when she even thinks about all the information she has gotten, but she is still sure about her decision to get an abortion and now it is the moment she needs to make some time for it.

Heart pounding in her chest Daisy approaches the office of Vicky. She is not ready to have this talk right now or maybe even having this talk ever. Daisy doesn't know what the reaction will be, and she is more than scared to cause a negative reaction by telling her boss that she got pregnant. Luckily, she isn't obligated to tell Vicky anything about the father and Daisy is sure she will die from shame if she has to tell her that the driver, she is supposed to work professionally with got her pregnant because the pill malfunctioned because of an herb tea she received from her coworker. Thinking about it makes it only sound even more ridiculous than before.

Daisy takes a deep breath, tries to calm down her heart and her nerves, and brushes her palms dry on her jeans before she lifts her hand to knock on the doorway of Vicky's office. "Uhm Vicky?" She tries to make her boss aware of the fact that she is no longer alone in the room. Vicky smiles at Daisy but it doesn't calm her nerves if she is honest.

"Yes Daisy, can I do anything for you?" The woman asks with a friendly tone, but Daisy doesn't even realise it because she is so full of worry about how this conversation is going to be. Daisy gently closes the door, creating a private space for her words, not wanting to also worry about the fact that someone might hear about her pregnancy.

"I know I work with Alec right now, but I feel more comfortable asking you if I can take a day off next week, preferably Tuesday." Daisy comes straight to the point of her visit. Her doctor did tell her she is not obligated to do it on Tuesday, but Daisy hopes to be back on her feet again for the race in Le Castellet.

"Did anything happen?" Vicky asks, voice concerned and not answering Daisy's question immediately, so the Finnish girl has to tell her boss the reason why she wants to take a day off so badly.

"When I was in the hospital, they told me I am pregnant and after some talks with the doctors I decided to get an abortion." Heart pounding in her ears, palms getting sweaty again and silence from Vicky. Her reaction is going to be bad, is what Daisy's mind immediately tells her, but then Vicky stands up and pulls her into a hug.

"Oh Daisy, is there anything I can do for you?" Vicky asks after letting go of Daisy who is a bit amazed by the reaction. Heart no longer clenching, but tears rise to her eyes which she tries to blink away.
