After their heart to heart talk Rafael decided the least he could do was be a gentleman and walk Hope to the door. If he couldn't help rescue his new friend the least he could do was watch over the younger students while the school's protector was away.

As the two continued to walk in silence Hope couldn't help but be proud of the werewolf. Rafael had started the difficult process of moving on a few weeks after Landon's death. Hanging out with her and Titan seemed to calm the boys wolf.

Rafael and Titan had become best buddies pretty quickly when Jed had been giving the newest alpha crap Titan had walked over getting in front of Rafael saying that Raf was friends with Hope and no one hurt Hope or her friends.

Despite the progress he'd made Hope knew that her friend had a long way to go before he would start to heal. She glanced at him and couldn't help but be concerned as she saw his eyes flash gold for a second before going back to there normal dark brown.

"Hey, you okay?" Hope asked still concerned about her friend. Just because he was eating more and getting more sleep than before didn't he was emotionally stable.

"Um.... My mind still won't settle down." Rafael replied as the two continued to walk to lunch.

"Look, I'm sorry, that I can't join the fight." Raf apologized he felt bad that he couldn't do more to help but Hope was right. If he went on the mission in his current state he wouldn't be much help if anything he would be a liability. He was weaker then Yamaha at the moment.

"Don't worry, I'm not going alone. The Squad answered the bat-signal." Hope said in an attempt to reassure her friend everything would be okay. Rafael turned his head to see Josie, Kaleb, and Jed walking their way a second later Lizzie appeared from around the corner.

Both twins stopped in their tracks glaring at each other.

"She's coming?" Both said at the same time in an annoyed tone. The twins had been at odds ever since Miss Mystic Falls. The two had developed a rivalry worse than the one between Caroline and her aunt Rebekah. Both witches had to much pride to admit they were being stupid.

"I need all the help I can get, so please put your twin war on pause." Hope said getting tired of how childish the two sisters were acting.

"Why is he going? He and Titan don't like each other." Rafael asked looking at Jed. Not liking each other was an understatement while Titan and Jed had gotten along at first It all changed when the gorilla had stopped the former alpha from a second attempt at forcing Rafael to join the pack. Things only got worse when Titan had put six of the pack members in the infirmary on a full moon while it wasn't intentional it wasn't exactly something Jed was about to let go.

"Look, you're the Alpha. If Titan's your pack, that makes him ours. He might not be a werewolf but he's still a part of the school and is cursed like us. So, I'm setting aside my differences with him... for now." Jed explained.

Jed didn't know the whole story but he knew enough to know that despite his anger towards the gorilla he wouldn't wish the creature dead. He simply wanted Titan to keep a safe distance from the pack and not hurt them.

But that was easier said then done. Titan's territory was by the old mill and only a select few were allowed to set foot near his territory without the twins or Hope accompanying them. If Jed was still human he wouldn't have batted an eye at Titan's actions he was simply defending his territory from other animals. However Jed's wolf disagreed and saw the ape as a threat to the pack.

To put it simply Jed didn't have a problem with Titan but his wolf side did.

"Where's MG at?" Kaleb asked noticing his friend's absence.
