After the younger successfully baited herself the girls run towards the main hall of the building to get through the stairs, the only way to the establishment's rooftop
Mina is walking in their front followed by Chaeyoung, Dahmo, Sana, and Jih was last again. they move fast as they can grabbing the chance to walk free without the lurkers
Chaeyoung breathes in relief when they reached the exit toward the rooftop, Mina immediately opens the door and quickly runs nearby the railings for her to look down searching for Tzu
The girls went to her and like her they were also looking for Yoda below. Sana is worried sick now and regrets being so sulky towards the younger, she can only forgives her when she returns safely
Soon, they sat down miserably as they didn't have a glimpse of Tzu, the squirrel is still standing peering down hoping to see her.
Chaeyoung closes her eyes in an upset manner, she was thinking about her friends they lost along the way here, they lost them in the process. Nayeon was first, second Jeong and now Tzuyu but she still hoping for the two to return.
She looks at the hand stroking her shoulder up to the face of Mina who's caressing her with a soft gazes.
Dahyun was just observing their atmosphere, it was melancholic and pensive, her eyes meet Momo's when the latter nudged her
"What?"
"It's hot in here, can we find something to shelter in?" Momo inquires
Momo's right since they arrived midday so the sun is burning hot, Dahyun's roam around her eyes and sees two benches with roofs so she informs her friends to sit over there while waiting for the rescuers.
Momo abruptly went there as she is burning by the sun already, Dahyun followed her while shaking her head. Mina drags her Chaeng behind Dahyun.
Jihyo was about to go after them when she noticed Sana, she draw near her and put her arm around the latter to make her walk towards the benches but the latter didn't move
"I'm sure Tzuyu was making sure to get in here as soon as possible because she knows that you're sulking like a kid " Jihyo consoles earnings a shook from Sana
"I can't see her Jih, I can't find her there. What if--"
"Stop Snake she'll be here anytime soon stop overthinking" Jihyo scolded and drags her towards where their friends are
"But I can't" The squirrel is now crying, very anxious. She badly wants to go after the younger
"Oh oh why are you crying?" Momo asks while munching Sana's food. She looks like don't care about her friends but deep inside she is. Momo is the most sad among them but it's none of her thing to show some bleak emotions
"She's waiting for Tzu" Jih answers making Sana sat down next to Momo then Momo offers her food
"Sana-yah!! Don't worry she'll make it here let's believe her. We don't know maybe she'd return with Jeong " Momo cheered up
"Yeah we should not think about negative thoughts here, c'mon they will comeback and flee with us away " Chaeyoung announced feeling boosted by Momo
Mina smiles seeing Cubby being cheerful. Jihyo agreed and smiles too then Dahyun and Momo smile joining Mina and Jihyo. Sana who's crying smiles while nodding her head.
Hours pass but neither Tzu or Jeong came. Sana walks again in the railings to look down she's been doing that for nth times already. Jihyo shook her head as the latter didn't even listening to her.
Their heads turned to the door they heard someone gasping the knob. They exchanged glances and stood up synchronously. Their milieu became tense and grim as the door kept moving
"No!/ Don't/ stop Sana/" Jihyo, Mina, and Chaeyoung shouted when Sana run towards the door
She unhesitatingly opened it hoping to see Tzuyu but instead of the person she hoped to see, a man with a rifle appears from the doorway. She steps back and breathe in relief when she recognizes the man
"Mr. Kim!" She inquires giving the man a wide space to enter
Mr. Kim closes the door behind him before turning to Sana and smiles at her, glad to see her safe then he searches for his niece
Dahyun immediately hugged him in joy, happy that her uncle is safe. Momo joins the hug like Dahyun she's happy too
"I'm glad you're safe uncle" Dahyun after breaking the hug
"Ditto" he responded then his eyes darted on Michaeng he smiles when the students he helped are here too
Chaeyoung gave him a genuine smile and smiles too " thank you uncle for saving us, if it wasn't you maybe we're now one of the lurkers " she said
" No worries it's my duty to make sure you're all safe, beside I can't just stand and stay put if I know that someone needs help." He replied
Dahyun guided her uncle towards the bench and they gathered there except for Jihyo who is starting at the man intently. She's not close to Mr Kim but she knows how kind he is especially with them, students.
"Hey president don't burn yourself there come here" Mr Kim said while motioning his hand to Jih to join them. He knew Jihyo because of Dahyun, the latter is so talkative that's why he knows all Dubu's friends
" Where the others? Nayeon? Tzuyu?" He asked the moment Jihyo sat on the other bench
The girls became silent all of a sudden, he nodded understanding the situation "I'm sorry for asking"
"It's okay uncle we're still waiting for Tzuyu and Jeongyeon" Dahyun said so hopeful
"Nayeon was one of them now, she's a zombie now" Momo vents sadly
Mr Kim gave them a sympathizing look feeling sorry. "That saddens me I wished I was there to save her from being bitten"
"It already happened we can't bring back time but thank you for concern " Momo boldly said wiping her tears, even Nayeon was demure but she's very close to her
"Tsk I thought you're not friend with her" Chaeyoung teased soothing herself from sadness
"Of course we are!" Momo fired back giving her a glare" Nayeon and I are very close if it wasn't Jeong you could have seen our closeness"
"Ahh that dumbass, I should have beaten her for drifting Nayeon from us" Jihyo said reminiscing their memories together
"You can't blame her, she has crush on her that's why " Mr Kim interfered pursing his mouth from smiling while remembering the two having their cat and dog fights
The girls smile as they thought that they only have known about it. Sana frown after realizing something
"Tzuyu has crush on her too I'm envious" she announced earning okay-look from them
"What?"
"You're just whipped" Mina mumbles but heard by anyone causing a laughter
Sana stood up annoyingly and look down again hoping for a glimpse of the younger.
" But at least it lightened up the mood" she thought with a smile on her lips
