Yeah, I know. I've been gone for a while. I can't say it's for an absolutely amazing reason because it's...not. Not really anyways. I would like to apologise sincerely for my disappearance. The irony is that I'm constantly like, "Damn, girl, this book is so good, like, when are they gonna update it? Like, I NEED — my soul NEEDS—", and then I sit around and don't update the stuff I haven't finished yet 😭.
BUT — Here's ANOTHER invasion story for you, except instead of vampires, it's the more traditional version of a supernatural invasion: aliens.
Since I released True Silk and Filthy, Impetuous Soul—which you can find on here and on Inkitt—for NaNoWriMo a couple years ago, I really haven't written much, let alone written on here. I think, however, this one is going to stick. Unlike with the last completed story, however, I'm going to stick with a schedule instead of trying to finish a chapter a day—that was honestly insane, actually, how I did that; I still don't know how I managed it.
This story was heavily inspired by the work Pet: Genesis by haleyinez — 4 and a half stars/5, because while I was reading it a few years ago, I could not put it down — and Butterfly in the Dark by PhuckingPhuck — also could not put down, 5/5 if you. These books consumed my days and nights when I absolutely should've been asleep. So, if you see this, guys, I'm expressing my appreciation for giving me something so amazing.
