I woke up to someone jumping on top of me. I opened my eyes to see Tahj jumped on the bed. "Mommy. Mommy. Mommy. Mommy. Wake upp!!!" "I'm up Mr. Sweetface. I'm upp!" he quickly jumped into my arms. "Mommy I want to watch the new paw patrol movie please please can we go watch it in the theater?" He said jumping up in down on my lap. "Okay baby lets go. Let's go watch paw patrol" "YAYYY !!" He exclaimed as he got up grabbing my hand basically pulling me all the way off the bed. He ran to the stairs and slowly went down them (if y'all ever seen a toddler go down the stairs than you know what I'm talking about)
We made it to the theater and Tahj ran to go sit down, I followed behind him and turned on the Paw Patrol movie. I went to the back of the theater and started popping the popcorn. When the popcorn finished popping, I put it into the popcorn bowl and seasoned the popcorn with a little white cheddar seasoning. I sat down and took a bit of popcorn and headed it over to Tahj who was really into the movie he didn't notice I put the popcorn in front of him. "OUU MOMMY LOOK AT SKYY! She is so prettyyyy !!" He said exclaiming, his hand hit the popcorn bowl a little and he looks down at the popcorn and took some.
The movie finished and Tahj started falling asleep, I picked him up and walked out the theater with him in my arms. As I walked past the living room I seen Carter, Embry, and Kai in the living room with 4 boys. I stopped walking and looked at them, 1 one turned around and the other 3 looked at me. They were pretty cute, I recognized one of them from my forensics science class. The one that was turned around turned and it was the boy I bumped into in the hallways at school.
"Hey bambina what's up" Embry said standing up from the coach. "Nothing, I'm just taking Tahj upstairs" "alright, dinner should be ready soon if you're hungry" I wasn't of course. "Okay" I said and continued walking towards the stairs. I got up to my room and laid Tahj in my bed. I still had homework from yesterday plus the homework from today, so I sat down at my desk and continued to write my essay after about 25 minutes I finished, I just had math and science work to do left. By the time dinner was done I had finished all of my work. I woke up Tahj so that we can go eat, I picked him up and sat him on my hip.
I walked down the stairs and into the dining room. I sat down next to Cameron and put Tahj in the chair next to me. I wiped the crusts out of his eyes before pushing his chair in. "Momma who are they?" Tahj said whispering, no one could hear him but me because everyone was talking about business stuff. I looked over and seen the boys that were in the living room earlier are now sitting at the dining table "Honestly Mr. Sweetface I have no idea" I said whispering back. The chefs came out with the food and sat plates in front of everyone. I looked at my plate and there was crab meat on my plate. "Umm... there's crab meat on my plate" I said looking at Vincenzo. "Oh Principessa, there should be a plate without the crab meat. Everyone checks your plates. The chefs probably got it mixed up."
Everyone started looking at their plates. I check Tahj's plate and he had crab meat. "I have shrimp on mine" the boy I bumped into at school said. "Yea I don't either" Embry said. Everyone said they didn't have it besides one person. "Carter." Vincenzo said looking at him "nah I have some on my plate" he said with a little smirk on his face. "Bro stop lying, I don't see any on your plate" Kai said looking at Carter's plate. "Cart give her your plate" Vincenzo said as everyone else started eating. "I had it first" he said scooping up some of the pasta from the plate and taking a bite. "Carter you're such a fucking asshole" I said covering Tahj's ears "and how's that" Carter said with his mouth full of food. "Your always doing weird shit to me like it's funny" I said as I started to get mad.
"Chasity. Watch your mouth" he said looking at me. "No." I said glaring at him "no?" "YES NO.You're always defending him. He bothers me all day and you always say stuff to me but not him" "He does get punished. I do it in private." "whatever" I said getting up. "Fuck you, I hope you're enjoying the broken nose I gave you" I said flicking him off as I walked out the dining room. "Chasity Ivy Armando get back in here" I continued walking to my room as I heard arguing. I walked into my room and slammed my door shut. I plopped down on my bed with a sigh. I stared at the ceiling to regroup myself. I couldn't help but let some tears fall down my face. I sat there for about 20 minutes until someone knocked on my door.
I walked to my door and opened it to see Embry standing in front of me "what do you want" I said wiping my tears away. "Sorella come with me were going for a drive, put your shoes on." I didn't say anything I just slipped my Uggs on. "where's Tahj?" "He's sleeping with Khalil tonight." "okay" I said mumbling. We walked down the stairs and into the garage. We got into Khalil's black G-Wagon, and he started driving. Kahlil drove me to In-N-Out and got me food. "Thank you" I said grabbing the bag from him and looked inside to make sure everything was there. He drove some more, and we ended up stopping at a beach.
The sun was pretty much already down, so there was about 15 minutes of sunlight left. Kahlil got out the car and I got out as well, he started walking down the beach a little towards the water. He sat down a couple of feet away from the water and I sat next to him. I grabbed my food out the bag and started eating. "Khalil, why'd you bring me out here?" I said looking at him. "I just wanted to get you out the house and I also wanted to talk to you." He said still looking at the water "about?" I said raising my eyebrow.
"Carter" "I don't want to talk about him." I said taking a bite of my burger. "I just want you two to get along, seeing you two argue is exhausting." "I didn't do anything to him he started with me." "That's because Carter loves you, he really does" I just scoffed at him. "Yeah right" "look. Chasity when your mom kidnapped you, it was really, really hard on us. No one was the same after. You and Carter were really close, he would be with you from the time you woke up to the time you went to bed." I looked down at my hands not saying anything as tears formed in my eyes. "So why is he so mean to me now?" I said looking up with tears coming down my face. "Honestly bambina" he said wiping my tears. "I don't know. But he will realize what he's missing and will come around." "Yea hopefully" I said wiping the rest of my tears away.
We stayed at the beach until I calmed down and finished my food. We got back into the car and Kahlil started driving. We talked all the way home, and he made me feel a lot better. "Oh Kahlil" "Yeah?" He said pulling into the driveway. "Who are those boys that were at the dinner table today?" "Oh, those are Carter's friends" He said pulling into the driveway. "What are their names?" "why" he said a little protective. "I just wanted to know cause I seen two of them in school" "oh okay, the one with the blonde hair is Zane, his brother is Ethan the one with the tats that looks like a military soldier" He said chuckling at the last part. "And the one with the green eyes is Jayden and the one with the glasses and wavy hair is Ace." "Oh okay. But thank you for taking me for some fresh air and the delicious food!" I said hopping out the car. "Your welcome bambina." He said walking up to me and kissed my head. I walked back into the house and the lights were off. I walked up the stairs and into my room, I closed the door behind me and walked into my closet and changed into some shorts and a tank top. I walked out of the closet and jumped when I seen someone sitting on my bed.
