The moment Pete blushed...I felt my ears burning too. Is she that uncomfortable?!
More and more I feel Pete doesn't like me the same way I do.
"I'm...I'm Pete's ...You know what?!...You're just spiting nonsense, Namphueng."
"You're just his friend, not his father."
"Yeah...I'm just Pete's friend, nothing more."
"So Pete, tell me...where's that handsome boy you're close to?"
"He's not close to any handsome boy but me, silly girl!"

We walked in silence to the training center.

I make us stop.

I don't know why I feel this anxiety ...why am I asking her that?! Do I want to listen to her answer?!

I see sincerity in her eyes.

"What are you expecting me to say?!"
