Way of the Ninja {Part 1}

"Jay is blue, master of lightning" Wu stated moving to Jay and tapping his shoulder with the bamboo stick.

"Heh, that's not all I am the master of! I do a little inventing, I dabble in model building, a touch of cooking, a little poetry" Jay started to rant.

"More like mouth of lightning" Cole grumbled, causing me to giggle a little.

"Black ninja is Cole. Solid as rock master of earth." Wu said, and Cole struck a pose.

"Ha" Kai laughed.

"Nice to meet ya kid. I got your back, and for the record there ain't nothing in this world that I am afraid of." Cole said pulling down his mask.

"except for dragons" Zane piped up on the other side of the line.

"Dragons aren't from this world. Zane. I said IN this world" Cole stated. I felt slightly offended by that and at that moment decided I probably shouldn't reveal my dragon form to him.

"And white ninja is Zane. Master of ice and seer with sixth sense." Wu continued, and Zane spun his shuriken till with a pop of light they vanished.

"I sense this one takes things a little too seriously" Kai whispered to Cole.

"You too have the gift?" Zane said also taking of his hood.

"Heh heh, he's just making a joke Zane" Jay chuckled," remember what we talked about? Your sense of humor. Huh?"

"Yes, it was a joke. Ha Ha" Zane forced out laughter, causing Jay to facepalm.

"Pay attention!" Wu shouted, "you four are the chosen ones, who will protect the Weapons of Spinjitzu, from Lord Garmadon"

"But what about my sister!" Kai exclaimed, I tilted my head, sister? He has a sibling?!

Jay, gasped.

"We're Saving a girl!?" Jay said and elbowed Kai," Is she hot?"

"JaAaAy" Cole said exasperated.

"I-I just want to know what we are getting ourselves into! Does she like the color blue?" Jay asked.

"Back off" Kai growled.

"When we find the weapons, we will find your sister" Wu stated.

We? Am I coming to? I thought.

"What about (y/n)?" Zane asked.

They all turned to me; I am seriously tempted to shrink back behind the pillar.

"Yeah, we can't just leave her here." Jay agreed with Zane and Cole nodded.

"Hmmm" Sensi Wu thought for a moment looking I directly into my eyes," She will come with us." He said after a bit, looking back towards the ninja. 

"It is time, we must go to the first weapon" he said tapping his staff on the ground.

"Hold on a minute you said you would teach us spinjitzu" Cole said stepping forward.

"Spinjitzu is inside each and every one of you, but it is only unlocked when the key is ready to be found" Wu answered gesturing towards them with his staff.\

"COME! My feet are tired. We will take the horse carriage" Wu said walking inside.

After he walked inside, I walked over to them and stood next to Zane who patted my head affectionately. 

"Great" Cole mumbled.

"Now we have to find a key?" Jay said exasperated.

"Yeah, I have a feeling like he is going to take us for a ride" Cole sighed.

"Well, if it means finding my sister, then sign me up" Kai said putting up his hood.

"And I guess you're coming with us" Jay smiled bending down to my level.

"Yeah, sorry about earlier" Kai said scratching the back of his head.

I eyed him nervously.

"It may take a bit for her to get used to you" Cole informed Kai.

"I have a quick question, though" Kai said.

"Ask away" Jay said standing up again.

"What is the burn on her neck from?" Kai asked.

"We don't exactly know, but we know it keeps her from talking" Zane answered calmly.

"Huh, its nothing like I have seen, and I worked at a blacksmiths shop!" Kai said making eye contact with me.

I took this opportunity to peer into his soul. I saw a short temper, protectiveness, caring, boldness, and a hidden soft side. I relaxed a bit seeing him less of a threat. I then yawned.

"How about we get you to bed?" Zane smiled, I just tiredly nodded.

~Time skip~

"SiGn Me Up, way to go sport clunk!" Jay mocks Kai.

"I sense this is some strange form of team building," Zane says slightly tired.

I sat in the 'horse' carriage with Sensi Wu. He sat there meditating while I was listening into the ninja's conversation.

"Just keep pulling we have a long way to go" Cole encouraged.

"So where did Sensi find you three?" Kai asked looking between everyone.

"Ugh, let's just say that if it wasn't for Sensi Wu we wouldn't be seen together" Cole said looking back at Kai," I was testing my limits."

"I was testing my invention" Jay said.

"And I was testing myself" Zane added.

"you're right it wasn't for Sensi, none of us would-" Kai started.

"Sssh. Stop" Sensi Wu suddenly said, causing the ninja to skid to a stop.

I hopped off with Wu and we climbed up to a rock looking over a mining site.

"The caves of despair" Wu stated looking over the skeleton ridden place.
