"You're outfit is nice, but on your 18th birthday you really need to wear something better." Rebekah says. "So we have this." Caroline says excitedly while walking in with a dress in her hand. "Oh my god it's beautiful!" I say as Caroline gives me the dress. It's a silver glitter dress, with a split on the side, I love it! I go into the bathroom to put the dress on. I walk out of the bathroom. "What do you guys think?" I ask. "You look beautiful!" Rebekah says. Caroline grabs my curling iron, and she starts curling my hair. After a while, my hair is done, and my make-up is adjusted. "Okay you're done!" Caroline says and I get up from the chair. We leave the room and I follow them down the stairs.

I walk down the stairs and I enter the living room, that has now turned into a party zone, with hundreds of people dancing, not to talk about the backyard. "Can I offer you a drink?" Nik asks. "Yes please." I say and he hands me a drink which I assume is a cocktail. "Where did you find all these people?" I ask and I take a sip of my cocktail. "Well there are some perks when you're a vampire. Also, a lot of people brought their friends." He responds. "Wow this really is amazing Nik." I say and I see Rebekah walking towards me. "Come we need to take pictures for memories!" She says as she drags me along. "You too Nik!" Rebekah yells.
I took a picture with Caroline, Rebekah, and some lots of people I don't even know. "Okay time for a family picture!" Rebekah says. Elijah, Nik, Rebekah and I pose, and the photographer takes some pictures. After a long session of photos, Rebekah and I go outside to the dance floor. We dance while the DJ is playing a song. "I'm really sad you're leaving tonight." I tell Rebekah. "Yea I know, but you understand right?" She responds. "Yea of course, but I'm still gonna miss you. But tonight we're gonna have the night of our lives!" I yell and we start dancing again. Nik undaggered Rebekah a while ago, we really became very close and she's like a sister to me. But she decided that she wanted to leave, so that she can live a happy life. I'll miss her, but I know she'll come back.
I walk onto the stage and grab the microphone. I test if it's working before I start talking. "Hello everyone, and thank you all so much for coming. It's really great party, and I just wanted to thank Nik, Elijah, Rebekah and Caroline for this amazing party they threw." I say and everyone claps and cheers. "Wow I turned eighteen today. Up till now it has been a great day, but I still miss someone. A couple of months ago I started writing a song. I told my best friend about it, and he was so excited. I finished the song this morning. This song is for my best friend Ben, who died two months ago. He didn't deserve to die this early, he was the most amazing friend you could ever imagine. Ben, I hope you'll be proud." I say and everybody cheers, as the tune of the song starts:
