It was already a third day of me literally dying. Since Pantalone's visit the cursed body of mine fall apart and I've been lying in the bed with a high fever. It was probably caused by our trip to the City a while back. I felt terrible and above all the time flew as slow as never. The only fun parts of the day were when either Amara or Dottore visited me even if just for a second.
- I am bored... Let's go for a short stroll, I feel better now - Amanda was outraged by my words
- you can't do that just yet my Lady! You are still too weak for that
- *sigh* what is Dottore doing he didn't come by for a while now...
- some experiment I think - she responded without much of a thought as she was more focused on folding freshly cleaned clothes of mine
- an experiment?! - I quick stood up... To quickly, as I could see dancing dots before my eyes
- my Lady, you can not! - she rushed and supported me from falling on a floor - you see?
- I am going - nothing could honestly stop me anymore "Dottore was doing an experiment" Amara sigh deeply as she could see that there was no point in stopping me as I would go there either way. I put on the slippers and a wool coat on the night gown to keep myself warm

- I should just keep my mouth shut - Amara complained to herself - I can bring you some clothes if you want too
- it is okay, it is not that important right now
- be careful, walk slowly - she advised as we reached the door to the staircase which led to the laboratory. She bowed and walked away, but still watched secretly if I was okay. Amanda never came to the basement with me. Apparently Dottore didn't like when she bothered him even in his office. After a bit of a struggle I've reached the massive door which I could hardly move. Whit all the strength I had I pushed them open and a yelp escape my mouth as I closed them quickly. A laugh could be heard by the other side.
- what are you so scared of? - Dottore said opening the door for me
- get that "thing" into a cage or something you idiot!
- alright, alright... - He took the unexpected guest in his hands and closed it inside a small bird cage "Where did he get a bird cage from?" - You can come in now. Didn't know you were more scared of mice's over a dead bodies
- it is not a mice, but as big as a house rat!! - he just couldn't stop laughing seeing as I carefully walked in a wide arc from the cage and took a seat as his desk
-not funny I almost got a hart attack there. Why do you even have this... Animal here? - "I think my fever just rose" I
- a lab rat - he responded casual and sat in my regular place on the other side of the desk
- huh?
- didn't YOU tell me to use rats to experiments?
- oh... - "So a rat... Not a human" I felt a bit more at ease and even the headache stopped - what are you researching this time?
- Body straightening medicine I've actually succeed - he proudly showed me a vile with a transparent liquid in it
- and what do you need that for? - he looked at me confused about such a "stupid" question
- Amara didn't tell you? - I shook my head negatively - Well I am making it for you
- hu.. huh?! - "Why didn't she tell me that!" At this point probably my whole face was red.
- do you have a fever again? You are all red - "Thought so..." he put the back of his hand on my forehead visibly worried
- what?! Are you an idiot? Saying something like that... Obviously I am red because of that! - I covered my face with a hands. Only then he understood what exactly did he say and a blush crept on his cheeks and ears.
- eghhh - he cleared his throat embarrassed - sorry... that did sound a bit...
- yeah
- yeah
"So awkward! This is too much for me even though I am not a kid anymore..."
- t-thank you for that - "what was that stutter for? So embarrassing" - ever since we've meet you've been constantly taking care of me even though I am a pain in the ass sometimes. Well... actually most of the time

- you reminded me of myself - "huh?" How did he even saw a similarity in us. - when I first saw you for the first time I didn't really care. You know I actually were supposed to meet Dearen that day. He wanted to tell me something, well it doesn't matter now. You looked like a broken doll... Your untouched by a sun skin and tender white hair blended into the snow making you look like a part of it. I wanted to walk past by, but your eyes... They looked so fierce even at the verge of death. The crimson pupils and a blood that covered your cloths... I even thought at fist that you were a fallen angel. I rejected thous useless thoughts and did something I was good at. I didn't expect you to be still alive by the time I came back. When I came back and you were still alive I couldn't just leave like that
- So that how it was... You weren't lying about the eyes that time. I really thank you Zandik. You are my savior - It was the first time Dottore ever saw her smiling like that, even her eyes sparkled with a joy. His coldblooded heart skipped a bit, but so did hers.
