He was already put into his first outfit, currently having his hair styled with Lila in the chair beside him. Nothing but silence filled the room, aside from the sound of the hairspray bottles and such, of course.

"I hope you can stay professional on set, Adrien. I wouldn't let my emotions get ahead of work, if I were you."

"What did you just say?" his head immediately shot up to look at his coworker in utter disbelief, even if that meant irritating his hair stylist.

She had a smug smirk on her face, like she knew what she was talking about. "You're obviously just in denial about your feelings for me, I've come to terms with that. Don't let the conflict get to your head while we're working today."

He was convinced this girl was at the maximum level of narcissistic a narcissist could be.

"Whatever you say," he sighs, turning away from her. Adrien just wanted this to be done and over with.

"Adrien! Wait," Lila called as he was walking out of their tent. He turned, not sure what to expect. "Yeah?"

"Do you maybe want to go have brunch together? As coworkers. Of course," she invites. He inwardly sighs in relief as he had a schedule right after this shoot.

"Sorry, I have another shoot right after. Go ahead," he declines politely. Although he disliked her for her irrationality, he still wasn't going to be rude.

"Oh! Well, what about after?"

Adrien shook his head, putting on a passable sympathetic smile. "I have plans," he stated, before proceeding to turn around to head into his car where Nathalie was waiting for him.

He could just catch the sound of the girl clicking her tongue, probably unsatisfied at her attempt to do whatever she wanted to do. He didn't want to assume anything.

"Let's get going," Adrien says to Nathalie, who takes a quick glance at Lila, who remains still where she stood earlier. "Did Miss Rossi ask you anywhere? I overheard her speaking to a staff member earlier about possibly going for a meal with the crew."

The boy nods, getting into the car as Nathalie follows. "I told her I can't, since I have another shoot."

The woman nods, glancing at her tablet. "Well, you're free after. You could always go then."

Adrien looks up at Nathalie, shaking his head. "No thank you. I don't feel like it," he admits, and there's a foreign expression etched on her face after he does.

"Is there anywhere you do feel like going, though? Today is one of your lighter work days," she then asks.

In his mind, the boy had one clear answer; he wanted to hang out with Marinette. He wanted her for company. His light days of work had always been boring hours in his room, nothing but solitaire befriending him as he never had anything else that he could do or anywhere else he could go.

"I don't know yet," he replies, the personal assistant nodding. "Do let me know if you've thought of anything," she advises, which he takes note of.
