Collisions are necessary in life
they will bring dread and strife
but they are themselves so bright
they are sometimes the only source of light.
to grieve always is thus unwise
inside oneself hope must reside
hope one day the dread will subside
hope one day love shall betide
In the face of wreckage profound
remember to stand your ground
Deep inside oneself let strength be crowned
you shall find motivation abound
collisions are debilitating
but make them invigorating
this sense of overcoming shall be intoxicating
for your heartbeats are to me the most elating
