🌹Chapter 5 Tart Making🌹

As the three arrived to the store, which (Y/N) recognized it as 'Mr. S's Mystery Shop'

"Hello? Can I get some—whoa!" Deuce said surprised to see what the inside store has in stock

"This shop is wild! They have crystal skulls, grimoire's, taxidermies and... I don't even know what kind of animal that is" he said, as he looked around

"You really think they sell cream here?" Grim asked.

Suddenly a man appeared behind the counter, which
(Y/N) recognized as Sam.

"It's very nice to see you again Mrs. Scamander. Who's this stray imp?" he asked referring to Deuce.

"Oh, he's a friend of mine"

"Um, I hate to interrupt you too, but we want to buy all these items here." Deuce interrupted as he handed the list.

"Oh! And also add some tuna cans!" Grim eagerly added

"No, Grim. We're not here for tuna." (Y/N) dead panned causing him to pout

"Hmm.. fresh cream, eggs... OK I shall bring them out" Sam said he screwed off to the back

"Oh... he really does have them" Deuce said nervously

In a manner of seconds Sam returned with the items

"Sorry for the wait. It's quite heavy, get it? Also, if you order now you can get a 1/100 size floating platter to carry your purchases for 30% off." he offered.

"Wow that sounds cool!" Grim says in awe as Deuce was creeped out by that offer

"U-um w-we'll have to decline. Let's go Grim!" He shuttered as he quickly grab the cash and the groceries before quickly rushing out of the store

(Y/N) chuckled, shaking head before looking back at Sam

"Maybe some other time Sam, see ya" She as she began to leave with Puma

"I'll be waiting for your return Miss Scamander. Have a nice day." he said, waving goodbye to her as she and Puma exited the shop before rushing to catch up with the two on Main Street.

"Alright that store gives me the creeps" Deuce admits nervously

"Ah, you'll get used to it, Sam might be a little creepy but he's a nice guy" (Y/N) says

"Essh, you're so stingy, Deuce" Grim frowned

Deuce suddenly glared at him "Who are you calling stingy?" He asked before turning his attention to      (Y/N).

"Hey (Y/N), that bag seems pretty heavy. Here I'll carry it for you." He offered

"Are you sure Deuce? I mean you're already carrying a lot of bags and..." (Y/N) trailed

"Oh, no need to worry I'm used to carrying heavy things" he assured

(Y/N) was about to decline but Deuce already took the bag that she was carrying anyway

She took notice that he is quite comfortable with carry so many bags so she decided not to argue with him and just let him carry them.
