Headcanon

-as soon as you walked through the doors he could tell something was different, he recognized you

-he just didn't know from where, and it was annoying him

-you and Charlie were talking about how the hotel works and how you'd get a room, that kind of thing

-all normal until you had to tell her your name, Husk's head instinctively snapped up when he heard your name

-his eyes trailed down to the ring on your left ring finger, yep that's you. Same ring he bought when you guys were alive, and the same ring he has on his finger

-but as much as he missed you, he wanted you to get settled before he overloaded you with the information

-that was a mistake, as soon as he told you, you tackled him into a hug, your cat tail moving back and forth happily as you scolded him for not telling you sooner

-god how much he missed feeling your embrace, but when you guys separated he took note of your cat like features as he chuckled

-"guess we're both cats huh?" He asked and you chuckled nodding, just happy to see him again

-and you didn't let go either, following him around. And occasionally, half to get his attention half because of your cat instincts would go to push a glass off the counter, Husk catching it, giving you a slight glare. But how could he stay mad at his husband

-later y'all caught up with each other's new lives etc. just cuddling in bed, being the happy married couple you guys were, despite being in hell

-your figure out how to make it work

Bonus: Angel was a lot less thrilled, now knowing he wouldn't be able to nail husk. And every time he tried either you or husk tells him off, but in a decently nice way, since you guys are slightly friends with the traumatized spider
