you're the body, like lavender flames cutting through the darkness with light
you're the voice, resonate with my soul
look at me
don't close those pretty brown eyes

this white robe i'm wearing makes me sweat too much
i don't wanna wear anything
just you
around me like a mink
want you so close you're a close fit for my favorite shawl
want you cause i know you're softer than any silk these hands can afford to touch
my silkworm, so small, overlooked, the real seamstress
can you be the thread i sew?
can you be the grass we lay in tomorrow?
i would ask you to be me, marionette
take over my body
so i can lie down inside of yours to find some sweet solace
but you could never be as amazing as me
and i don't know how far you're willing to let me in.
i don't mind digging around for your lost keys
in purses, sewers, countries
tell me the opening of your heart is in europe and i'll search the whole continent
or run down the street for a lock pick, at least
you make my thoughts run wild

i would write all day about it
