"Right, I forgot." Yinakap ni Shane si Priscilla. "I owe you my life for protecting them."

"OA naman neto. Wala 'yon. I like watching these guys anyway." Lumapit si Pri sa tenga ng kaibigan. "I can watch them for you again if you're planning to add another member to the Ramos family."

"Priscilla." Shane groaned.

"Whaaat? At least 'di ba, you have me just in case. As if naman makukuntento kayo sa iisa—oh, hey! Shaney's long lost mommy!" Nagsilingon silang lahat sa pintuan nang pumasok si Natasha. Alanganin pa siyang lumapit sa pwesto nila. "Come in po! You're welcome to stay here anytime. Come in, come in."

"Mom, these are my kids. Dylan Christelle and Maximilian Andrei." Proud na pagpapakilala ni Shane sa mga bata. "And umm, Dylan is a famous child actress—"

Naputol ang sinasabi ni Shane noong nag-ring cellphone niya. "Give me a moment. Hello? Oh, hey Leona. Okay, give me a second. Kieran, do you mind—"

"Got it." Maingat na kinuha ni Kieran si Max mula sa hawak ni Shane. "Go. Ako na bahala sa pamilya natin."

Shane nodded before going outside to the beach to take the call. Hiro was already there, listening into their phone conversation. Gabi na ng makarating sila sa vacation house kaya medyo madilim na sa may dalampasigan. Tanging buwan lang nagsisilbing liwanag nila't medyo malakas ang hanging tumatama sa kanila.

[I don't know who leaked your itinerary, but my best guess is they must have tracked one of your devices. Maybe si Doctor Ramos?]

Nagkatinginan si Shane at Hiro.

"Possibly. We didn't anticipate Kieran when we were there. If Dylan is being watched, I assume it's like that for the doctor too. Alam nilang si Kieran ang kahinaan mo, Shane." Alalang sabi ni Hiro. "Your family needs security. May mga tauhan mga De Vera para mangdukot ng tao. First warning na yung kay Dylan."

"Any luck tracking that vehicle?" Bumaba ang boses ni Shane. Sumilip siya sa bahay kung saan naririnig niyang tumatawa pamilya niya.

"My team is still going through Priscilla's security tapes."

"If you have identified who this stalker is, I'll immediately file a restraining order. The children are my top priority." Bumuntong hininga si Shane at napahawak sa baby bump niya. "I'm employing Vincent's help with hiring a security personnel. My family will be staying here in the meantime until the Supeme Court finalized the hearing date."

[Vincent's help? Ibig sabihin ba nito kumampi sayo mga Maclain's?]

"Not really, no. He'll be helping me secretly. He still needs to keep his mother's reputation clean. Right now, at least to the media, he's not siding with anyone." Paliwanag ni Shane kay Leona.

Kahit na severe case of human trafficking ang situation, people who would lose their jobs will not care. Dagdag mo pa yung connections ng mga De Vera sa government, Shane. Tumanaw si Shane sa may dagat at nag-scoff.

"Piece of cake." Confident na sabi ni Shane. "I've always been the villainess anyway. This time, I'm owning up to that name."

Her necklace glimmered under the moonlight.

Shane smirked at Hiro, "It's on."
